MFT Teasers Day 4

Okay, are you SURE you're ready for today's stamp sets??? Holy moly, I'm IN LOVE with the sets we're peeking today! So in love, that I made a card with all three, so hang in there with me, lol! The stamp sets are called "Inspired by Up, Up, & Away", Claire Keay's "You Had me at Woof", and "Just My Type"...

First up is this CAS, vintage card using Just My Type!
No, you're eyes do not deceive you, that is a HUGE typewriter stamp and it's SO perfect! I had a ton of ideas rolling around in my had with this one, but I wanted a simple, masculine card. I always tease my dad about being old (he really isn't, it's just a little daughterly ribbing, lol) so I think this stamp set and this sentiment in particular will be AWESOME for his birthday. Which isn't until December, but since I'll be moving back to the states and probably won't have my stamping stuff yet, I have his card done early, bwahaha! I also used the circles and alphas from Typewriter Alpha to spell out "HB2U!" and then applied Diamond Glaze over the letters. I aged the kraft background with Tea Stain Distress Ink.
You will love this set, the sentiments are in such a neat font, and c'mon...can't you see this typewriter in a vintage turquoise? SO many fun ideas.
---------------------------------------------------
Up next is the newest addition in the Inspired By collection, which is one of my favorites (I think I say this about all the MFT lines, lol). This is Inspired By: Up, Up, & Away...

I stamped the balloons (don't you love them???) in Rich Cocoa, Cherry Cobbler, Daffodil Delight, and Baja Breeze ink. I left them uncolored because the detail of the stamps really don't call for much color. I think they have more impact when left alone:) Did you notice the clouds? Those are included in the stamp set and they coordinate PERFECTLY with the Flat Bottom Cloud Die-namics!! YAY! I love it when that happens, though I'm sure the brilliant Kim did that on purpose, giving us even MORE ways to use our beloved Die-namics! I finished this card off with some silver stickles on the clouds (cause every cloud has a silver lining, ha!) and airbrushed the background blue with my B00 Copic.
----------------------------------------------------------
My last card, is my favorite...maybe because I have a soft spot for puppies:) This is the new addition in the Claire Keay series and is called "You Had me at Woof"

Can I get a collective "AWWWWW!!!" That puppy, so so cute. Is anybody else like me? When you see the name of a stamp set, you automatically go through your mental catelog of all your paper pads and think which one best matches the theme? Well I didn't have to think at all for the Max & Whiskers by Basic Gray line to pop into my mind:)  I stamped the image in Tuxedo Black ink on Neenah cardstock and did some Copic coloring, and some paper-piecing...I paper-pieced her little coat with some yellow paper from the BG paper. I airbrushed my YR21 Copic on the top part of the image, and my YG95 (I think) for some grass on the lower portion. I'm telling you, I've been giving my air cans a work out lately, air-brushing really adds some interest and is quick and easy! A little less messy than sponging too and you don't have to worry about getting a big glob of ink where you don't want it, lol. I'll be getting a video tutorial on this together one of these days.. I used the April SFYTT layout for this card.

Well, if you made it this far, THANK YOU for listening to me ramble on, lol! Can you imagine what it's like to talk to me in real life? Bahaha! I am so excited to you to get these stamps in your hot little hands:) Head on over to Kim's Blog for a list of participating ladies, you don't want to miss a single blog! Thanks so much for stopping by:) Tomorrow is the last day of Teasers and the big release party and then the stamps will released! Can't wait to party it up with you girls:)

All three of these ROCK Amber! You KNOW I am a HUGE dog lover so the last one is my favorite - fabulous shading job and I like your incorporation of that wonky rectangle shape too. The CAS style of your first card is fantastic and I love how soft and pretty your second card is as well.
