You're a Class Act!

Good morning! I have a quick card to share today before I head off to work. I just loved this week's Deconstructed Sketch so I pulled out Reverse Confetti's Class Act and went for it!

The papers are from Basic Gray's Hey You line, I just picked some neutral colors out of the pack and
found one I could stamp on as well. This stamp set has a coordinating die set, Class Act dies, which made creating this card a breeze!

Here, you can where I stamped that alpha block on the grid patterned paper. Made it easy to line up;)

Here, you can see I cut out the note book paper with the Class Act die twice, stamped the notebook paper on the white die cut and layered a kraft die cut right behind it. I die cut an apple and some leaves and stamped those and bumped them on up some dimensionals. to kind of finish this card up, I added some sequins, buttons, and a twine bow!

Here's the Deconstructed Sketch, it was a fun one!!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!!!

Happy St. Patrick's Day to you, my friends!! I have been waiting for this holiday to fall so I could play with my Lucky You stamp set and matching Shamrock dies!

I used this week's Mojo Monday sketch for my layout, though it is a *tiny* bit different so I could accommodate for my sentiment. The best opening for that cluster was on the other side of the circle image:)

Thanks for stopping by, wear something green today! ;)

Better Together Blog Hop

Welcome to Verve's Better Together Release Hop! There's a brand new Verve set releasing today and we're celebrating with a blog hop!

Better Together

This is a fun set with some great sentiments, awesome fonts, and a fun little graphic image!
I've been really wanting to do some water coloring, so I took this opportunity to give it a go:)

I just used a really basic Prang watercolor set and picked three blue/green colors for my pallette. First I embossed that dotted image in white ep on watercolor paper. Then I created a wash, which the embossing resisted! Pretty cool:)

I used the flowers from Dream Big (and cut out with the Scalloped Flowers die) and the leaves (and matching Elegant Leaves die) from Bloom & Grow.

Reverse Confetti Release Day Blog Hop!!

Hello Reverse Confetti friends! Winter may be trying to hold on for dear life, but with the hopes of spring right around the corner, there’s a fresh new release from Reverse Confetti! There are 6 new stamp sets and 5 new Confetti Cuts Dies (some of which coordinate perfectly with a few of the stamp sets, too). Today, we’re hoping to put a “spring in your step” with our new release Blog Hop! The Confetti Crew, Challenge Crew and a few of our friends have sprung into action with some fabulous projects to share this month using the newest RC products. Hop along with us and catch “spring fever”!

The hop started over on the Reverse Confetti blog and it would be worth your while to start there, so you don’t miss a thing! We have tons of inspiration for you to see using all the new Reverse Confetti stamp sets and dies!

This first card was created with the new Carton Cuties set (and matching dies), the Beautiful Banners set (and matching dies), the Love note die (scalloped note) and the Class Act die set (polka dot rectangle that matches up with the love note) I really love those Carton Cuties, they're so much fun!

Next up a fun card I made using Petals 'n Posies!

I stamped the flowers in a border and placed the sentiment in a banner (from Beautiful Banners) on top! Pretty simple card, but lots of fun:)

I hope you’ve enjoyed hopping with us today. Be sure and hop with us on the 8th of EVERY MONTH for more Reverse Confetti inspiration! Now it’s time to hop on over to our new 'Fetti Friend, Lisa Addesa's blog! If you get lost along the way, you can find the hop order and list of all the participating designers over on the Reverse Confetti blog.

A few things before you hop along though, just to keep you “in the know”…
March’s SKETCH FOR YOU TO TRY is open for you to play along. AND, be on the lookout for a NEW COLOR challenge we will be introducing on March 16th and another way to win!

Celebrate the creative side of you!

Countdown to Confetti Day 3: Carton Cuties & Class Act

Well here we are, last day of sneak peeks before you can get these amazing stamps for your very own!!

Today we're peeking the last two sets, and first up here is Carton Cuties!

I can't stand how cute this set is! You get peeps, bunny peeps, an egg carton, adorable sentiments, AHHH!!!! For my card, I cut out two different bunny shapes and then colored them with Copics. I stamped and colored the carton and then put the little bunny peeps inside. I created the background with distress inks and watercolor paper, that is such a fun technique!

The little arrows stamped in white around the border of the card is a stamp from Arrows 'n Elements.
And of course I had to use the amazing Beautiful Banners stamps and dies. The vellum tag is from Tag Me!

Next up is a card I created using stamps from the new Class Act stamp set:

This is a super fun set that can be used for many occasions, I can't wait to play with it more!

I stamped the alpha block on the card base and then created a little chalk board using the chalk technique!

This set comes with it's own dies as well, making it that much more fun! You might notice that fun notebook edge on the main panel, that's from our new Office Edges dies, OMG SO FUN!!

Make sure to hop on over to the RC Blog for a list of the girls playing along today, alot more inspiration waiting for you! Thanks for stopping by,

Countdown to Confetti Day 2: Beautiful Banners and Petal's n' Posies

Hello there! So glad you came back, you're in for a huge treat today, our new stamps are so amazing!!

First up is Beautiful Banners! I'm so excited to have this banner set, AND matching die! How many times I've longed for it:) Not only does it have tons of sentiments to go along with it, but it will be so fun to mix and match with older sets as well.

There are three different types of banners and several sentiments. I only used one banner shape but picked out three sentiments that would work with the birthday theme! SO FUN!

Next up is a new FLOWER SET!!! Petals 'n Posies!!

This new floral set is so fun to play with! And of course there are matching dies that make it all that much more fun and versatile:) I cut a love note out of vellum and embossed the sentiment in white ep. I stamped the background with one of the background stamps from So Stripey. Then came the fun of cutting out flowers, stamping them, and arranging them around my sentiment.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Make sure you stop by the RC blog for a list of the girls playing along today! See you back tomorrow for MORE!
