Puppy Love

Good morning!! I'm here with a quick little post using some of the newly released Reverse Confetti stamps!!

I just love these adorable pups from Puppy Love!! I cut them out with the matching Puppy Love Confetti Cuts and then colored them in with my Tombow markers. I cut out a panel using the new Pretty Panel Heart Love Confetti Cuts. I wanted to make it a shimmery gold so I spritzed some Heidi Swapp Gold Color Shine mist on my craft mat and then painted it on the pretty panel with a paint brush. 

The background was created by smooshing Festive Berries and Picked Raspberries Distress Inks on my craft mat, spritzing them with water, and then smooshing my watercolor base in the ink and letting the colors mix together! I love that technique:) I stamped the sentiment on a strip of cardstock and then snipped the edges into a flag shape.

Countdown to Confetti Day 1

Well the week you've been waiting for is finally here! It's Reverse Confetti Release Week!! You are going to *LOVE* the release this month. Six amazing stamp sets, a bunch of new dies, and a new product we're introducing, Quick Card Panels! Let's get started!

First up is the adorable Heart to Heart stamp set and coordinating Confetti Cuts!

I cut four small circles from the Circles 'n Scallops Confetti Cuts and then I cut the smallest heart from Heart to Heart Confetti Cuts out of the center of the circles. I layered different papers behind the negatives added Stickles to the hearts. I cut the largest of the plane circles from Circles 'n Scallops and then cut just a part of the largest heart from Heart to Heart Confetti Cuts out of that circle. I stamped the black heart directly on the white card base and then popped the cut out around the heart stamp. 

Next up is a card using the new Quick Card Panels and Puppy Love!

The three strips of hearts in the background is actually one of the new Quick Card Panels! I cut it into strips so I could layer it on the card like this. These card panels are so super fun, just wait till you see the other designs!! They make putting a card together a SNAP!

I cut out the cute puppies and food dish with the Puppy Love Confetti Cuts and then stamped them. I colored them in with my Tombow watercolor markers. The sentiment was stamped on a vellum circle cut out with the largest die in the Circles 'n Scallops Confetti Cuts.

Hey Sweet Thing!!

Hey there! I'm back with another challenge card, this time for a new challenge blog I found, The Card Concept! I'm thinking this is going to be an awesome challenge blog, can't wait to see what's next!

But before I worry about that, I tackled this weeks challenge, Monochromatic

 Pink!

Just the excuse I needed to pull out my Reverse Confetti Valentine's stamps again:)

I used the small arrow from Crushin' in white ink along the border of the card, and Whole Lotta Hearts on the background. As a last minute addition, I added Stardust Stickles to the hearts. 

For the main image panel, I cut out a white Love Note and then a tag from Tag Me in Vellum. I embossed the sentiment, from Sweet Thing, in white ink on the vellum tag and then stamped "sweet" on a flag die cut from the Tag Me banner die. Then I cut out an Arrow and cut it in half so I could lengthen it behind the sentiment.

Hey there! I have a card to share today with this week's Retro Sketch!

As soon as I saw the sketch I knew what I wanted to do with it!

I am SO in love with Zentangles and the fun Dangles that you can create, and that's how I was inspired to make this card! I have arrow dangles! The arrows and the sentiment are from Crushin' by Reverse Confetti. I also used the hearts from the Love Note dies and the Double Edge Scallop Border!

Verve's More than Love Release Hop!

Welcome to Verve's More than Love Release Hop! Over the weekend Verve released a brand new set and ribbon collection and today we're hopping to share our first looks at these lovely new products!  

I really love this new set, More than Love, such elegant sentiments and the heart with the sunbursts is so gorgeous! You will love this new stamp set:)

I embossed the sentiment in white powder on vellum cardstock. The large heart was cut out with the largest of the Wavy Heart dies and the small gold heart is from the I Heart You die set.

Two of the small sentiments from More than Love were stamped in Gold Delicata ink. The black fourishes along the border are from Blessings.

February Sketch for You to Try!!

Hi there! Happy Super Sunday:) I'm here today to share a card I made with the new February Sketch for You to Try!

Such a fun layout! I hope you can play along with us this month!

I pulled out my favorite Sweet Thing again for this card, I just love it! The sentiment on the main image panel are from Sweet Thing. 

I embossed the gold heart border from Whole Lotta Hearts on vellum paper. I just love how that turned out. 

I stamped the polka dots from Whole Lotta Dots in white ink on the card base. I wanted it sort of distressed so I didn't press down all the way on the stamp. The "xoxo" flags are from Crushin and the heart and arrow dies as well as the scalloped love note die under the sentiment are all from the Love Notes die collection. So fun and easy to mix and match these sets!!

Hey there! Quickie post from me tonight! After completing my stampy requirements for the week, I had a little extra time before getting ready for dinner, so made this card as well!

This card is for my momma, I'm sending it to her tomorrow! My hubby, and my dad are both gonna be gone for Valentine's Day (the same as what happened last year!) so mom is gonna be my valentine:) The sentiment stamp is from Lovey Dovey Sentiments by MFT. I was going to restamp it but then thought, you know what? I kinda like it grungy like that, haha! My stamping table is in pretty bad shape. I have glue, glitter, all kinds of stuff stuck to it so it's hard to find a super flat spot to stamp, haha! It's all good, I like imperfection;)

Viva la Verve!

I've got a quick card to share today using Diva Teresa's VLV sketch for this week! It's a really fun one, so give it a try and link it up for us over in our forums on Splitcoast!

Here's my card using some stamps from Wings of Love, the Happy Valentine's Day PJ, and a fun heart die from the new Wavy Hearts die set!

The papers are from the Paper Heart Collection by Crate Paper. I did alot of distressing, and even got my pink Shimmerz spray out for this card! I have tons of that stuff and never use it, lol! The little heart stamps, "my angel" stamp, and wings are from Wings of Love and the "Happy Valentine's Day" is one of our newest Plain Janes and a real steal at only $3! 

I cut a heart out of kraft cardstock with the largest of the two heart dies, layered a button and twine on top, and then stamped and cut out the wings. I think I'll be using those wings alot, I love them!

Have you heard about the Purge hop? Well some crafty friends of mine went through their stashes and found stuff they were willing to give away! I was supposed to be joining them but waited until the last minute to start my purge so I had to back out. Dang! Oh well, we'll be doing it again and I'll be ready for it then because lord knows I have plenty I need to purge! January Spotlights Day 2-Wings of Love

Welcome back to day 2 of our January release spotlights! Today, we're shining that light on a GORGEOUS new valentine's set called Wings of Love. There is also a matching die set that coordinates with this set, which is totally amazing! 

I have to apologize for the quality of this picture. I waited until the last minute to get my picture and now I can't get the right light! Drat. Well...imagine this is a WHITE card, lol! I wanted to go clean and simple on this card because layers and lots of detail are not my friend this week! Trust me, I don't know how many of my cards went in the trash this week, until I just went simple. Then I started to love them:) I wanted this one to be as masculine as possible, as I plan on giving it to my manly-man honey! He doesn't mind a little sparkle though, thank goodness for that! I cut the hearts out with the two hearts from the Wavy Hearts die set and then stamped the coordinating stamps on the die cut hearts.

Sparkle Creations Challenge #27-Love is in the Air

Hello! The weekend is getting nearer, can't you feel it?! Don't have any plans other than crafting the days away because it's supposed to be rainy and cold! That's okay with me, 90% of the time on this island its hot and muggy so I'll take the cool while I can get it:)

I played in the Sparkles Creations challenge again this week! The challenge is an easy one, whatever makes you think of love!

Valentine Oliver makes me think of Love! Isn't he precious??? Especially carrying these chocolates and flowers to his beloved:) I kept the layout and embellishing to a minimum so he could stand out in all his CUTENESS! 

I colored him in grays and reds and did some stippling with a W3 and W5 Copic. 

That's it from me today, I'm not super chatty! We're watching that SyFy show "Face Off" where the make up artists compete kinda like Top Chef only the create movie characters and stuff. Fun show!
