Verve Stamps October Spotlight Hops ~ Day 3

Welcome to our October 2013 Spotlight Hops!  We're so excited to preview Verve's newest stamp sets and dies with you! Welcome to Day 3 of our spotlight hops! Today we're shining the spotlight on a new stamp set called Unto Us and a coordinating die set, Reindeer Fun!

This stamp set has a chevron stamp that coordinates with the Classy Label Die which is one of my all-time favorite Verve dies! This stamp makes it even BETTER! And I love how versatile this stamp is, the chevrons are good for any occasion, or no occasion at all! I cut out three labels and then stamped them in kraft and cherry ink. I cut out the reindeer (those two reindeer are one die) and the snowflakes (another die included in the Reindeer Fun die set) and then stamped the coordinating images. You can see where I stamped the kraft background with the snowflake also!

Today, we're peeking the Holiday Treats stamp set and Cup of Cheer die set!

My card today is pretty simple, I wanted to highlight these amazing chevron tags and the adorable coffee cup/sentiment! 

I saw a card at Target this week that had like a circus tent in the background and some tickets hung on ribbon on the front of the card, it's what inspired me to make this card!

The chevron tag stamp coordinates with the Tagged Rectangle Die, and I can see myself using it MANY times in the future!! It's great for every day cards as well as some fun holiday cards!

The paper I used is from Basic Grey's Aspen Frost collection, as well as Kraft and Rustic Cream from PTI. The ribbon is from the Polka Dot Basics collection from Verve and the button and twine from PTI.

Welcome back to the last day of our sneak peeks! I bet you're SOOO excited to get your hands on these sets aren't you? I can't wait for you to get them either and FLOOD the interwebs with your gorgeous creations:)

So today we're peeking a fabulous new set called Holiday Greetings.

I stamped and embossed the large snowflakes in clear and white EP and then ran it through my big shot with a woodgrain embossing folder. The wreath and sentiment are also from this amazing set! I cut a large circle and then stamped the wreath on the circle, added another circle with the sentiment, and then added stickles to the berries, some buttons, and some fab gingham ribbon! I think this one is my favorite card of the release, the white, kraft, and red combo is so fun!

Amongst the excitement of the release, I almost forgot that today is a new Viva la Verve sketch! A new month and a new sketch:) This week is my week and here's our sketch!

Again, the lighting sucks because this is taken with my phone and no amount of photo-shopping was going to help, ha!

It's already day 3 of our sneak peeks! This week is flying by!

Thanks for all the sweet comments so far, I love to read them:) As for the comments on my pictures from my phone, it's an iPhone 4S which I'm pretty sure has the most fabulous camera ever, ha! Well maybe the 5 is better, but I've not had my hands on that one yet! I still prefer the lighting on my real camera, so I'm gonna keep on looking, lol:)

Today we're sharing peaks of TWO new stamps, one is a a new Plain Jane, and the other is Joyous Noel!

The sentiment is the new Joy to the World Plain Jane, isn't it awesome? I love the font! The flowers are from Joyous Noel, I just stamped a couple, cut them out, and layered them:)

SCRSC #51-Sweet Holiday Wishes

Good morning! It's beginning to look a lot like CHRISTMAS! At Sparkle Creations, we're bringing Christmas to July! I don't know about you, but I'm looking forward to Christmas, because I'll be living back in the good 'ole USA! 

Anyway, before I get carried away in excitement (LOL!) here's my card for this challenge!

This little cutie is Sweet Treats Emily! And as you can see, she's not technically a "Christmas" image, but just by coloring her in Christmas'y colors and using Christmas'y papers, VIOLA! A Christmas card! LOL! 

The patterned papers are from BG's Jovial line, one of my favorite Christmas lines ever! I used my new solid lines embossing folder from SU! for the Cherry Cobbler cardstock:) The sentiment is from Holiday Button Bits by PTI.

Our challenge is open to all players. Each week a random winner will be chosen, and this week's winner will receive the adorable Christmas Tree Ruby rubber stamp. In order to qualify for a prize, you must use a Sparkle Creations image on your creation. Most importantly, have fun! Last Viva la Verve! Challenge of 2010!

Today, the LAST VLV sketch challenge of the year has been posted! It's Teresa's week and she came up with a GORGEOUS sketch! I hope you have time to play with us:)

Here's my sample!

As you can see, I strayed a little, but I think I kept the overall layout in tact! I thought it would be fun to cut that side panel out with my Vintage Oval die and stamp the coordinating frame stamp on the card base! 

The purple cardstock was stamped with snowflakes from Christmas in the Air, Glad Tidings, and the purple Poinsetta from O Christmas Tree! The sentiment is from Merry Wishes.

Mojo...Wednesday???

It is THIS week;) This week has been so strange, it seems so long yet I can't believe tomorrow is already Thursday! I had completely forgotten about the Mojo sketch so when I happened upon Mojo Monday 116 today, I was so very happy! It's a SUPER fun sketch, I loved working with it!

I pulled out a Verve Christmas set from last year's Holiday release, this one is called Poinsetta Christmas and is on sale for only $8.oo!! I used some more of my precious Green Tea Leaves dp by PTI for this card, as well as Rustic Cream (the new white!), Riding Hood Red, and Ripe Avacado! I added some white Kaiser pearls to the poinsetta's and green circle and some Ripe Avacado ribbon:) I can't wait to give this card away, I love it so much!

Blue Christmas

I've been listening to my Elvis Christmas album and maybe I was channeling his song "Blue Christmas" when I made this card;) I made it using Jen's Sketch for you to Try layout for this week!

This was a super fun card to make! I even broke into my OLD DCWV winter mat stack from like 3 years ago, lol! The ornaments are from Vintage Ornaments by PTI and the sentiment is from Signature Christmas (Dawn McVey's handwriting set) which I *adore!* I added some fun snowflakes (MS punch) with buttons and jute! The sentiment was stamped and punched out with the Wide Oval punch and layered on the nestability tag! The white PTI ribbon was threaded through the little openings in the tag. I sewed around the middle blue panel, for some texture!

I did alot of stamping today but nothing I can share right away! So enjoy the remainder of your weekend! It's Sunday night here in Okinawa and tomorrow is Monday, uggh. Oh well, it was bound to show up again!;) Thanks for stopping by!

A new month, a new KOM!

There is a NEW KOM being introduced this month at Unity *if you still see the October KOM, keep checking till the November kit is up*! You will *LOVE* it! I don't have it yet, or I would have a project using the KOM to share with you *bbooooohoo!* I can't wait to get it, all the stamps will be muched loved, I'm sure of it:)

I do have something to share, a card I made for today's Featured Stamper challenge on SCS! We're CASE'ing Miss BOO this week! Her cards are CAS and amazing, loved her gallery!
Here's my card based on THIS SWEET CARD by Miss Boo!
My card base is Pure Poppy by PTI. I stamped the oranaments from Merry and Bright in Pitch Black on white cardstock and mounted it on a piece of Sweet Blush. The ornaments were colored with Copics *and then heavily with Red stickels:)*
I stamped the sentiment and then cut it out with a circle punch. I loved Miss Boo's simple layout so this was a very fun card:)
