Sweet Birthday Wishes

Good morning! Sorry I have updated my blog in so long, I had family visiting, the flu for over a week, and just general life in the way of my stamping time:)

But I did sneak some "me" time in and created this fun card using some new Reverse Confetti goodies!

The papers and flower die cut are from MME. The sweet and birthday wishes are from the adorable new "Sweet Thing" set. The arrow stamp is from "Crushin"

I also used the new doubled edge scallop border die and the love note die, these are staples you'll need for every card! I stamped "birthday wishes" on a flag I cut out with the die from Tag Me.

I also sprayed a white doily with some turquouise spray from Heidi Swapp, I love how it came out all shimmery!

Thanks so much for stopping by today, hop on over to the Reverse Confetti blog to see the happenin's or to the Reverse Confetti Store for a little shopping:)

Reverse Confetti January Release Blog Hop!!!

It’s a new year, and what could be better than to start it off with a brand new shiny release from Reverse Confetti?!  Love is definitely in the air with the 6 new stamp sets (including our new QuirkyCuties line) and 3 new Confetti Cuts Dies.  We invite you to hop along with the Confetti Crew, Challenge Crew, and a few other friends today as we share our cards and projects using the new products.  We think you’ll fall in love over and over with this release!

You should have come here right from the  Reverse Confetti blog, and if you haven't, why not back up one blog just to make sure you don't miss anything?:) We have tons of inspiration for you to see using all the new Reverse Confetti stamp sets!

I know I promised three new projects, but one of them wasn't cooperating while taking pics! I'll have that one up later in the week:) I do have TWO to share though, that's better than nothing!;)

First up is this fun little card using the new set Paper Crane!

I wanted a light, airy card so I created my card bases out of a piece of acetate and stamped the cranes on pastel papers from Teresa Collins.

Next up is a card I made using the new Keywords set Together!

It's a little femmy for my man, but I couldn't help it. It started out masculine, but then I added ribbon, a red pearl, and stamped hearts to look like scallops (one of the heart borders from Whole Lotta Hearts). And now, as you can see, it's not very manly, ha!

I stamped the Together sentiment and embossed it on the vellum, and then also embossed the turquoise row of hearts. The little house was stamped and cut out/popped up on dimensionals, and as I mentioned, the scallop stamps on the sides of the card are actually from Whole Lotta hearts. I also cut out a little frame using the Love Note die and then cut out the middle, to create just the scalloped frame.

I hope you’ve enjoyed hopping with us today. Be sure and hop with us on the 8th of EVERY MONTH for more Reverse Confetti inspiration! Now it’s time to hop on over to Daniela’s beautiful blog. If you get lost along the way, you can find the hop order and list of all the participating designers over on the Reverse Confetti blog.

A few things before you hop along though, just to keep you “in the know”…

January’s SKETCH FOR YOU TO TRY is open for you to play along.  ClickHERE for a chance to win.  AND, be on the lookout for a NEW COLOR challenge we will be introducing on January 16th and another way to win!

Celebrate the creative side of you!

Reverse Confetti Sneak Peeks Day 3

Hello there! I'm back today to share another card using another new Reverse Confetti stamp set!

Today we're peaking the adorable new set Crushin'!! You are going to seriously crush on this set when you see it!

I went with a clean and simple design today. I created my card base out of a piece of cardstock and then, using the largest heart from the Nestabilities collection, I cut a heart out of the card front. I cut it out crooked and hanging off the card on purpose, it adds a little extra fun:) After that, I layered a piece of clear cardstock behind the heart, so you can see right through the card. I cut out another, smaller, heart and then cut out an arrow out of gold foil! I seriously love this arrow die, so much fun! The XO and sentiment are from Crushin'.

As a reminder, all of our releases will happen on the 8th of the month…just not every month.  We will release new product every other month.  We’ll still be hopping on the 8th, whether there is a release or not.  Just remember, “Eight is Great!”

Reverse Confetti Sneak Peeks Day 2

Hey there! Welcome back, are you ready for Day 2 of our sneak peeks?

Today we're peaking two new sets in the Keywords line. I'm sharing a card make with
Keywords: Sweet Thing!

I just love the Keywords collections. There are so many mix and match possibilities! I also used the new background building set, Whole Lotta Hearts. I stamped them in white ink on the kraft background. The arrow is a new die called, well...Arrow (lol!) and the heart die cut in the middle of the tag is from Confetti Cuts: Love Note and the scallops are from the fabulous new Double Edge Scallop Border! There are big scallops on one side of the die, and small scallops on the other side, genius!!!

In this picture above, you can also see I used one of the tag dies from Tag Me, I cut a gold foil tag and just used it to peek above the main panel.

This is an unbelievably versatile set, I just know you're going to love it!

Verve January Diva Inspirations Hop

Welcome to Verve's January Diva Inspirations Hop. It's the 5th of the month and that means it's hopping time! This year we're spicing up our monthly hops with the addition of a challenge! So in addition to a comment prize hidden along the hop, you can play along with the challenge and link up your creation for a chance to win another prize! Woohoo!
Our January challenge is:

The year is shiny and new, so let's add shimmer and shine to our cards.
Think glitter, sequins, rhinestones, pearls, heat embossing - anything with some gloss.

Here's a card I made with some glittery cardstock hearts!

The hearts and sentiment are from my favorite Valentine set, Chevron Love!
I stamped part of the sentiment on a doily, and the other part on a tab I cut out with the Flag It die set.
The black heart was cut out with the Jotted Heart die and the red with the Wavy Hearts die set.

The silver glitter hearts were cut out with the Heart Quartet die set and the red arrow is from a package of MME ephemera.

I did my best to use the January Week 1 Viva la Verve sketch challenge! Make sure to check out our BRAND NEW CHALLENGE BLOG!

Need a little more inspiration? Check out the blogs linked below to see what our Divas did with the challenge! It's sure to be a treat, and speaking of treats, we've got a prize for one lucky commenter along the hop! Check out the Verve Blog today for all the prize info and deadlines.
