Reverse Confetti May Sketch for You to Try

Hi there! I'm here today with a quick card for this month's SFYTT!

Here's my card with a bunch of new RC goodies!!

The background script paper is from the new Let's Celebrate Quick Card Panels. This is my favorite pattern from the pack, so fun!

I cut out a scalloped circle with the new Scalloped Circle Confetti Cuts and stamped the coordinating image from Circle Sentiments in pink Archival ink. The "wishes" stamp is one of the sentiments from Circle Sentiments, I just masked off all the pieces I didn't want to stamp. The birthday die cut is from Fancy Words Confetti Cuts, and the flags are from the new Stitched Flag Trio Confetti Cuts. The vellum rectangle is the large die from Love Note!

Hope you can play along with us this month, check out the RC Blog for more details!

Reverse Confetti March SFYTT

Hi there! I have a quick card to share today with this months' fabulous SFYTT!

I pulled out some NEW RC GOODIES for my card today!

I started by cutting the blue polka dot piece with the panel from the Tagged Tote Confetti Cuts. Next, I used the sun die from the Sun 'n Clouds Confetti Cuts and turned them into flowers! The little fence is a wood cut I got from Micaels, it's not a die. I cut out a couple birdies from The Tweet Life and colored them in with Tombow markers. The sentiment and banner are from Beautiful Banners cut out with the Beautiful Banners Confetti Cuts. The green scallops on the bottom are from the new Double Edge Wonky Scallop Border Confetti Cut. Lastly, I added some clouds from the Sun 'n Clouds Confetti Cuts and some buttons and twine!

Thanks for stopping by today, please check out the RC Blog for sketch details and a more inspiration!

January Sketch for You to Try

Hello there! I am here today with a project for this month's Sketch for You to Try (SFYTT). Jen has a super fun sketch this month, hope you can play along!

SFYTT20_Jan15

Here's my project, I created a fun mixed media tag

I started by gesso'ing a tag. I forgot what size this tag is but I think it's one of the bigger ones from Ranger. After applying gesso, I spritzed some Pink Bubblegum Dylusions ink and some water until I got the fund drippy background I wanted. Next I mod podged a red doily, did some ink splattering, and then added my layers. I cut three hearts from the Heart to Heart Confetti Cuts. The largest and smallest heart I cut out of the pink Happy Heart Day Quick Card Panel and the middle sized heart I cut from book paper. From that pink Quick Card Panel, I cut the red chevron shape and glued it down, that's the piece you see right behind the sentiment. I stamped the sentiment from Love Blooms on the new Square Tag.

Make sure to stop over at the Reverse Confetti Blog for more projects and link list for the designers who played with this sketch this week! Thanks so much for stopping by:)

Reverse Confetti November Sketch for You to Try

Hi there! Happy Veteran's day to all you Vets out there!! Thank you all for your service:)

*** I'm here today with a card for this month's Reverse Confetti SFYTT ***

I had this scrap paper sitting on my desk for the longest time. I was testing out some fun new enamel embossing powder but never did anything with the piece. So I saw it and finally decided to put it to good use! The sentiment is from Seasonal Sentiments and the holly leaves and berries are from the North Pole Wishes dies. The flag the sentiment is stamped on is the largest tag from Tag Me, with the top of the tag cut off.

Make sure to head on over the the Reverse Confetti Blog for a list of the other girls playing along today, and for more details on this month's sketch challenge! Also, if you didn't know, we just had an amazing stamp release! Check out all the new goodies HERE!

Thanks for visiting and have a great day!

October SFYTT

Hello there!! I'm here today with a card for this month's SFYTT over at Reverse Confetti! I'm sure you've seen the sketch by now, pretty fun one!

Here's my card using the Fabulous Flamingo set!

I had to adjust the sketch to fit my card, but really like how it turned out. The base watercolor paper was spritzed and watercolored in pink. I mounted that on a black card base. Using the Fabulous Flamingo dies I cut out a flamingo and stamped her in a couple shades of pink. Next, I cut out 3 paisleys with the Perfectly Paisley Confetti Cuts from vellum and ran it through my Xyron sticker maker. Then I sprinkled glitter on the paisleys and adhered them behind the flamingo.

Such a fun set, love these flamingos! Hope you get some time to create this weekend, why not try the sketch! Please go to the Reverse Confetti Blog for the sketch details and links to the other girls playing along. Thanks so much for stopping by today!
