Can't get enough!

...of the Beez Kneez!!!!!!!!! If you have this kit, you KNOW what I'm talking about! Each and every piece of this kit is just oooozing with inspiration:) Love it!
Today, the Caffinated Cropper DT and some of our loyal customers are havin' a blog hop! That's right, a whole hop full of beez and earthy colors, fun ribbon, all my FAVORITE things! If you're coming from Angie's blog, you're on the right track! If you don't know what I'm talking about, start at Amy's blog and work your way through the list of hoppers, you are sure to be inspired:)

Here's my little card:)
I'm running out of papers from this kit and that makes me sad! I adore this book print paper, it's probably my favorite in the kit! I stamped the flower from the Niki Silvis stamp set (included in the kit, oh yeah!) three times and colored it with copics. Next I layered some buttons tied with black twine. The only thing on this card that's not included in the kit is the black gingham ribbon and the buttons:)

Ready for more? Head on over to Karen's blog and see what she has for you!

Thanks for stopping by today! See you tomorrow!

Easter SFYTT

**This is my second post today, scroll down to see my Beez Kneez card!**

It's Saturday! Hurray! Thought it wouldn't ever come, didn't you?;) I have a card I made using this weeks SFYTT! I think you are really going to LOVE this sketch! I had big plans for this one, and then I came up with this card that I'm not 100% crazy about, so I'll be using this sketch again tomorrow, we'll try again, lol! HOWEVER, that being said, I do love these new Easter stamps, "Easter Joy" by Verve! Here's the sketch--

And here's my card:

The striped paper is Egg Hunt by PTI and was the inspiration for the colors on this card! I couldn't decide on colors so when I pulled this paper and this stamp set out, I pulled the colors from the paper and wala! An Easter card was born:) I stamped the egg wreath (don't you LOVE it?) onto a piece of Egg Hunt paper and cut it out, I was too lazy to color today and thought this was a pretty cool look!

Please excuse the crooked brads, they didn't look crooked until I had them all in and then it was too late to reposition, ha!

Check out the rest of the SFYTT team! There are some BEAUTIFUL cards in blogland today, sweeties! Go to Jen's blog to enter your card!!

Thanks for stopping by today!

Caffinated Cropper kit DT Hop

Hello blog friends! I owe my readers, Amy, and the rest of the Caffinated Cropper Kits DT a huge apology for being late in my post today! SUPER late actually and I really feel badly about that! Military life, that's all I'm gonna say about that:)

So it's now Saturday morning here in Oki and I have lots of crafting planned! I started my Saturday morning out with a cuppa joe and my Beez Kneez kit! I gotta tell you, I'm running out of supplies in this kit and that makes me SAD! I adore this kit, the colors in the kit, them embellies, all of it is SO gorgeous and useful! So here's what I came up with this morning:)
I just love the black base on this card! Obviously I'm going to have to fix up the inside when I actually send this one out because of the black inside, lol! EVERYTHING on this card is from the amazing Beez Kneez kit except for the black cardstock and the black string. I had a ton of fun with the bow embellishment! Here is a close up:
After tying the bow, I tied a Jenni Bowlin button onto the rhinestone buckle and then tied that onto the bow and stuck a couple of the gorgeous stick pins in as well. I adore this card! Admittedly, it's going to be a monster to mail, I'll likely have to use a box, haha! It's all good though, I'm loving it, bulkiness and all:) I also used some Cinnamon Stickles (also included in the kit!) to glitz up the right corner, here's a close-up:
I think it finished the card off just right! I had to hold myself back from adding Stickles on the bottom too, cause I just can't STOP when I start adding embellies, lol! It's addicting, especially when everything coordinates SO PERFECTLY!!!

Okay, well you've probably already seen the other ladies GORGEOUS creations with this kit, but just in case you've missed it, visit these ladies, you'll be so happy you did!
Also, I hear there are only 7 kits left! Get yours while you can, I promise you won't regret it! Also, I've seen the next kit and you will LOOOooOOove it!!!!

Thanks for stopping by, you make my day!

Drive...

Hello! Can I get a w0000000000OOOOOt for Friday EVE? LOL! I am SO over this week and ready for a relaxing weekend with my sweetie (who is currently VERY sick, awwww:(

A few days ago I actually got a few scrapbook pages done and I'm loving them! Today's layout is one of my favorites ever, my babies are so dang cute!!!

Right? Am I lying? I think NOT! They are so crazy when it's time to go for a walk (I even have to TYPE that word quietly or they might hear me and go bonkers!) or a ride in the car and they get all out of breath before it's even time to go, lol! This layout has a couple pictures of them last summer when we took them to the beach!! I used the phenomolishicious March KOM, Rockin' it Unity Style, (the journaling tab) and "I Ruff You" (paw prints, heart) which is another SUPER cute kit that any doggy lover MUST own;) The dp I used is more from Imaginisce (SO loving this sweet line!)

That's all I have for you today! Thanks for stopping by! Don't forget to hop over to Angela's blog for today's Specials, Deal of the Day, and a list of all the lovely ladies who have worked hard to bring you BEAUTY today! Have a wonderful weekend!

JustRite March Mega Blog Hop-Day 2

Welcome to Day 2 of the VERY inspirational JustRite blog hop! I don't know about you but I have been LOVING all the wonderful projects out in blogland these past couple days! Totally leaves me inspired and ready to make something, lol!

If you haven't already begun at the JustRite blog, then be sure to go there first so that you don't miss a single thing! If you arrived here by way of Kelly Landers, you're right on track. When you're finished here, you'll hop over to the amazing Margie Higuchi!
I have a couple cards to share with you today, because I just fell in LOVE with my stamps the moment I opened them up! Stitched with Love is an amazing set of 6 gorgeous images and 6 beautiful borders that are interchangeable!

I used a sketch by Mercy Kerin for the layout of this card and the designer papers are by K&CO and the cardstock (Ocean Breeze, Sweet Blush, and Vintage Cream) are by PTI. I cut the heart from the stamp out and glittered it up good! Nothing a little glitter can't do for ya;) I also have tons of these Prima pearl flourishes that I just don't use and thought they would look perfect here, and I think they do! The little leaves are by Prima and were actually white. I spritzed them with pink glimmer mist and they matched perfectly! I also love those little roses by Prima, they are PERFECT for jazzing up your ribbon;)

My last card is a peaceful blue number that I created using this weeks Sketch for you to Try layout.
This stamp is my favorite in the set, I love the little spool of ribbon and the sentiment is so sweet! I did a ton of sewing on this card, because you just can't have a sewing themed card and NOT SEW! I tied some white satin ribbon (colored with Copics) around the card and added a button with twine.

30 designers, FIVE shopping sprees each day. No one knows where the prizes will be! Each day of the hop JustRite will have five Mystery Blog Candy Prizes hidden along the hop with a total retail value of $600. JustRite will randomly select five mystery blogs each day of the hop and randomly allocate each of the shopping sprees. For your chance to win, simply leave a little love (a comment) on each designer’s blog including the JustRite blog. The more designers you leave comments with, the better your chances of winning. Each day’s comments will remain open for three days. A winner from each of the mystery blogs’ comments will be randomly chosen using Random.org. Consult the listing of designers at the JustRite blog each day (each day’s designers will be different) and start out on your way! Beginning Friday, March 26, summaries of all the winners will be posted on the JustRite blog. Good luck to everyone and enjoy all the JustRite eye candy along the hop!

Today during the JustRite Mega March Blog Hop (Day Two) JustRite and its sponsors will be giving away the following five prizes:

· $200 JustRite Shopping Spree
· $100 Spellbinders Shopping Spree
· $100 Stamp Simply Ribbon Store Spree, and
· Two additional $100 JustRite Shopping Sprees!

Blog comments for Day Two will be open until Friday at 6pm EST. On Saturday, JustRite will announce on their blog which five blogs have the mystery candy for Day Two. You will need to go to the JustRite blog to determine where you need to go to find out if you are one of the five lucky winners.
Once again, here is the entire list of today's hoppers, just in case you get lost on your way or a link isn't working! Thanks so much for stopping by today!!!

She SCRAPS?!!?!

That's right boys and girls, Amber scrapped today! And on the day after Billy got home no less, lol! I think having him home does something for my mojo, really gets me wanting to create because I'm happy and everything is right in my world:) FIRST I must share with you a card for the Monday Chicks challenge! I threw down a color challenge since we were coming upon Monday with no plan (SO NOT US! LOL, I totally kid, this is SO us!) The colors are Turqouise, Pink, and White! However, some of the girls wanted to use Kraft instead so we changed it to Turqouise, Pink, and a NEUTRAL! Everyone wins:)
Here's my card based on Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch #61 this week!

I love these colors! They are so fresh and girly:) PERFECT for a gumball card! All stamps on this card can be found in this months KOM, Rockin' it Unity Style! I use to love gumballs and would search under couch cushions for enough change to buy one the next time we went to the grocery store:) I colored the image in with Copics and then applied some 3-d liquid dimensionals on the globe of the gumball machine but the picture doesn't pic that texture up, bummer! The colors I used are Tempting Turquoise, Melon Mambo (SU!), Sweet Blush and White (PTI). The ribbon, buttons, and twine are also from PTI!
Go see what the other ladies have for you today!
One of the scrapbook layouts I created today also uses stamps from the March KOM!
If that sketch looks familiar, it should! Latisha came up with it and is hostessing a sketch challenge in the Unity Forums! Go check it out, all projects will be entered to win Le Chic Vintage (this kit isn't available for purchase! It's a past Scrapbooking KOM) That is a fab kit, one I don't have, and one I need to own! GO HERE to see the challenge and enter! The dp is from the new Imaginesce line, I forgot what it's called though! I picked it up on my travels in the states a couple weeks ago:)
Well there it is! I have one other layout that I made, but I don't want to overload you with TWO layouts on ONE POST!!! That would overload ME! LOL! Mebbe I'll post it tomorrow, I sure do love it:) Okay, have a great Monday peeps!!

SFYTT dedicated to Susan and Eric...

Today, the SFYTT team is dedicating our posts and cards to Susan and her husband Eric. Eric has been diagnosed with an as of yet unknown form of cancer. You can see all the details about it here on her blog if you haven't already heard. We want Susan and Eric to know we are praying for them and a miraculous turn of events and that his chemo does the job.

Here is this weeks' sketch:
And here's my card (sending this one to Susan and Eric!)
The main image is a stamp from Verve. It's a beautiful set of two stamps titled "Jeremiah 29:11" I know it's easier to say than it is to believe when you're going through a rough patch, but I really do believe that God has a plan for everyone and he will never give us more than we can handle and this verse sums that up so well. The paper is by Sassafrass Lass. I cut it out with a Spellbinders die and added some turquoise pearls for filler, lol! The Lemon Tart ribbon is by PTI. See that little rose on the bow? OMG I am SO in love with these! They're by Prima and they are SO WONDERFUL! They come on a piece of green wire that you can wrap around things and it makes the roses stay put w/out any glue! I'm about to go buy stock in these babies, lol!

Stop by the other ladies blogs to see what they came up with!

Thanks for stopping by today! In case you've noticed and are peeved by it, I had to add word verification to my blog again:( I get at least 3-5 spam emails a post and that is really annoying to me, and I'd hate one of my visitors to click on one and get something nasty, so I had to turn the WV back on. Sorry about that, I hope it doesn't keep you from leaving me some love, I love it when you visit me!
**Edited to add the right sketch, I had the wrong one up, SORRY!**

Have you heard about the Birds and the Bees?

Not THOSE birds and bees! Get your head back to crafting, lol!

This month's theme for the Dirty Dozen Active and Alumni girls is all about Spring, Birds, and Bees! The only restriction Joanne gave us was that we could NOT use decorative border punches *EEEEEEKS!* She really cut me to the bone on that one, but I made it through;)
It just so happens that the Caffinated Cropper kit this month, The Beez Kneez, is just PERFECT for this theme! The card base, dp's, stamps, and pearls are all from the kit! The bees, sentiment, and the sun are all from the Nikki Silvis stamp set included in the kit! I stamped the big bee on a piece of yellow dp and cut it out and then popped it up! I love the teeny bees, aren't they cute?

I used Julee's Mojo Monday Sketch #130 for the layout, LOVE this sketch!

Check out the DD Challenge Gallery for tons of eye candy! I can't wait to go hoppin' through the Birds and Bees cards:)

Unity Thursday!

Morning friends! Nothing better than a Friday Eve and Unity! I have a couple cards to share using the March KOM today! I have been so inspired to stamp with this kit that I went crazy and made TWO cards to share with you;)
I've had the idea for this fun card in my head for a few days! The color combo, the layout, the stamps, it all just went together exactly like I imagined! The colors are black, pure poppy (PTI), and the turqouise in-color by SU! (I forgot the name?) I loved this juke box from the March KOM as soon as I saw it! There are a couple fun sentiments that go along with it too, fun right?
This next card is a softer, more feminine card using the SAME KOM! That's what's great about these kits, there are so many stamps, all of varying styles, that just makes making a TON of DIFFERENT cards so easy! The papers (with the exception of the Lemon Tart and Rustic Cream cardstock by PTI) are all from the Caffinated Cropper kit, The Beez Kneez!
I love this happy little card and the vellum butterflies just make me smile!
Okay, well head on over to the Unity Blog for today's steals and deals! I think you will all agree, Angela has the BEST deals on the web and today is sure to be more of the same! You'll also get a list of all the sweet DT ladies playing along and bringing you KOM inspiration today! Hoepfully your kits are making their way to your door as we speak! Thanks so much for stopping by today!

My kit is here!

My Beeez Kneeez kit is finally here! It was WELL worth the wait too, let me tell you! I couldn't wait to tear the box open and I just love every last piece of this kit! Amy really did a great job choosing all the elements to add to the kit, they all flower together so nicely! In case you haven't seen the kit yet, see THIS POST for the pictures of the kit and visit THIS BLOG to buy yours today! They're selling quickly so get it before they're gone;) Here's my first card with the kit!
The sparkly alpha doesn't really show up in the photo, but those green letters (Pink Paislee) are SUPER sparkly! The best think about these glitter alphas is that the glitter doesn't get all over you! I've had some that are just way to messy to deal with, these are not like that! The only thing on this card that isn't included in the kit, is t
he Apron Lace punch (used on the chocolate cardstock), and the sewing machine;) EVERYTHING else is INCLUDED in the kit! I think another thing I love about kits is that everything you need is right there. Sometimes I get overwhelmed with all the crap I have and can't decide on what to do. With a kit, you have several options and they all coordinate:) I am really not just saying this because I'm on the DT, I really adore this kit!

I did make one other card tonite, with a new addition to the Plain Jane family from Verve, H
appy Birthday!
I used this weeks' 2 Sketches 4 U layout for this card:) The paper is Material Girl by Cosmo Cricket! Doncha love those buttons?:)

Sweet Sunday Critters!

Today the Monday Chicks are all about CRITTERS! As you may or may not know, this months Fan Club theme is also Critters, so I have been knee deep in bugs, puppies, dinosaurs, and dragons, lol! If you are a Fan Club member, the gallery (this link will only be active if you are a fan club subscriber) over on Splitcoast is OPEN NOW so go check it out! You can also find out who the 2 new Dirty Girls are and give them a warm welcome;)
When the chicks decided on Critters, I had just the idea for this card. When I was at home on leave a couple weeks ago, I bought every embellishment and patterned paper I could find with a critter on it, and after the DD gallery submissions, I still have a bunch left! I really loved these chipboard shapes and papers by MME from the Abbey Road collection, so I decided to go with it:)

The card base is Aqua Mist and then there is a layer of Vintage Cream, both by PTI. The DP as mentioned earlier, as well as the chipboard embellishments are all by MME. I used Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch #60 for my layout and then the card sorta went wild, lol! I really wanted to use up every last piece since I'll probably never use them on anything else!
Go see what the other Monday Chicks came up with for today's theme!

AJ, Jeanne, Jimmi, & Maren

Have a great week! I'll be back tomorrow with some new Verve cards!!!

March Store Kit HOP!

This is my 2nd post today! Scroll down for my SFYTT sample:)

Today, the Unity Rockstars are showcasing the March Stampin' Store Kit, "Adventures in Happiness!" How much do you LOVE the name of this kit? It's SCREAMS fun!
Here's my card using that FAB tree and a fun sentiment!
I stamped the tree in Melon Mambo ink right on the card base and paper pieced a few of the "leaves" with some Bo Bunny paper. I also added some Star Dust Stickles on some of the leaves, you just can't really see it in the photo. The birds (from Birdie Inspiration) are stamped in Kiwi Kiss ink, and then I went over the wings with stickles, again:) I stamped the sentiment in Fresh Snow ink and then wrapped some white grosgrain ribbon. I got those adorable mini roses when I was shopping with Jessica in Nashville and I've been DYING to use them! SCORE! LOL!
Hop on over to Angela's blog for a complete list of all the DT members playing today, I'm sure you're in for a treat!

This will be my 1st post today, check back in a bit for my Unity Store Hop card!

This weeks' Sketch for you to Try is a REALLY fun one! Who am I kidding, they all are! But I really had a great time with this one:)
I kinda forgot the heart layer, dagnabbit! I actually just noticed that, lol! Hopefully Jen won't change her mind about me:D
Here's my card-
Isn't it fun and sunny? Today was actually a perfectly BEAUTIFUL day in Okinawa! Probably about 70 degrees, maybe 75, sunny, no clouds, birds a' singin, it was heaven! Only thing missing is my sweetie, but he'll be home next week!
So since I was in such a sun-shiney mood today, it came out in my card! I adore this new stamp set by Verve "Let it Shine"! There are fun sun images, lots of fun sentiments, just a great all around stamp set! The colors I used are Aqua Mist, Lemon Tart, Summer Sunrise, and Orange Zest by PTI!

Make sure to check out my other Sketch Sistah's!

Remember Me?

I'm the girl who used to post here regularly:D
I have been on a two week vacation and it was fabulous! Went to Nashville for a week and then went home to Montana for a week to hang with my sweetgrandparents, my mom and dad, and my little (okay, not so little anymore) brother! We had a blast and I miss them already! It was the first time all 4 of us have been together for 4 years! Whew, time flies!

So while I was on vaca, Jen Del Muro emailed me and asked me to join her Sketch For You to Try sistahs! OF COURSE I said YES! I love Jen's sketches and am so honored she asked me to join the other talented chicks! Along with myself, Jen Diercks and Megan Lock are also joining the gang:)
Here's this past weekends sketch--
Isn't that fun?
Here's my sample--
SO SORRY for the horrible picture! It's 8:00 pm and as I've complained about on NUMEROUS occasions, my lighting sucks at night:) I'll probably take a better picture tomorrow.
The card base is Vintage Cream. The pink dp is from K&Co and the sweet image is from Crafty Secrets. I wrapped some twill and lace around the cream panel and stamped a sentiment from Year of Flowers: Violets by PTI! As an after thought, I added some sparkly butterflies (punch by Martha) and buttons.
If you love this sketch as much as I do, cruise on over to Jen's blog and check it out! She will now be considering all SFYTT entrants for the next month's Guest Designer spot!
Thanks for stopping by today, I'll be back to my chatty, card-making self in no time;)
