Keep the Faith

Good morning! Hope your week is off to a good start today:) I have a quick card to share using some fun Reverse Confetti goodies, and I just love this card so much!

I started with a piece of white cardstock cut a bit smaller than the base. The smaller panel measures 3.75" x 5". I mixed some gold craft paint (from Martha Stewart) and some 3D Soft Gel (from Prima) and then spread it through a stencil (from Faber Castel) with a palette knife. I let this piece dry on it's own for a couple hourse and came back to it. I am usually really impatient and blast it with my heat gun, but as this isn't a "mixed media" piece, I didn't want any imperfections or bubbles in the gel. Once the piece was dry, I pierced the holes around the panel with my old trusty SU! piercing tool. The florals and leaves are from Petals 'n Posies and were cut out with the coordinating dies from Petals 'n Posies Confetti Cuts. I stamped them in my Hero Arts Ombre ink pads, so in love with those haha! I stamped and embossed in white the sentiment from God is Good on a tag cut out with the Tag Me Confetti Cuts.

Thanks for stopping by today, have a lovely week and I'll see you in a day or two!

Reverse Confetti May Sketch for You to Try

Hi there! I'm here today with a quick card for this month's SFYTT!

Here's my card with a bunch of new RC goodies!!

The background script paper is from the new Let's Celebrate Quick Card Panels. This is my favorite pattern from the pack, so fun!

I cut out a scalloped circle with the new Scalloped Circle Confetti Cuts and stamped the coordinating image from Circle Sentiments in pink Archival ink. The "wishes" stamp is one of the sentiments from Circle Sentiments, I just masked off all the pieces I didn't want to stamp. The birthday die cut is from Fancy Words Confetti Cuts, and the flags are from the new Stitched Flag Trio Confetti Cuts. The vellum rectangle is the large die from Love Note!

Reverse Confetti Countdown to Confetti -- Day 2

Can you stand more Reverse Confetti Birthday Celebration???

Today we're sharing sneak peeks at the new Circle Sentiments and Scalloped Circle Confetti Cuts!

I started this card by cutting my card to 4.25x5.5". I cut another white panel 4x5.25 and, using the Scalloped Circle Confetti Cut, cut a circle out of that panel. I glued down a piece of patterned paper to the card base so it would show through the negative created by die-cutting that smaller white panel. I stamped a sentiment from Circle Sentiments on a strip of cardstock and glued it under the negative die cut. Next, I glued a mint flag I cut out with the Stitched Flag Trio Confetti Cuts and added some buttons and twine. I also added a strip of patterned paper to the left side of the card and a sprinkling of sequins!

This is such a fantastic stamp set! Such fun sentiments and they all fit in the Scalloped Circle Confetti Cut! This set will be a must have;)

Please visit the RC Blog for deets on how you can win a $25 gift card and for more inspiration, thanks for stopping by today!

I cut all the pieces out with the Monkey Business Confetti Cuts and stamped the matching images from Monkey Business in Archival ink. Next, I watercolored all the pieces with my Tombow markers! I layered the monkey, presents, and balloons on a circle from Circles 'n Scallops Confetti Cuts and stamped the sentiment on a banner cut out with the new Stitched Flag Trio Confetti Cuts! The stars are from the new Star Garland and lastly I spritzed a bit of black Distress Spray and wrapped some black twine around the card front.

Happy National Scrapbook Day!

Hey there! Happy National Scrapbooking Day!!!!!! Pretty sure it should be a national holiday, but at least it falls on a Saturday;)

Today over on the Butterfly Reflections Ink Blog, we have a couple challenges for you! The first one is this GORGEOUS mood board, seriously how scrumptious are these colors??? Summer is coming!!

Here's my card based on the watercolor piece on the top left of the mood board

I started with a piece of Tim Holtz watercolor paper that I trimmed down to 4"x5.25" I smooshed some Squeezed Lemonade, Spiced Marmalade, and Abandoned Coral distress inks on my craft sheet and then watercolored the back ground using a mop brush. I let each color dry before I applied the next color, as I didn't want them to blend, and I love those "crispy" edges you get from watercolors.

Next, I stamped the large floral image from Altenew's Persian Motif's in black Archival ink. Next, I took the Simply Said Hello die by Avery Elle and die cut the watercolor background. I knew I wanted that die cut into the background so you could see the black card base through the negative. I could have just cut out a black Hello and stuck it on top, but it's so much more interesting this way ;)

I stamped the birthday sentiment from MFT's Totally Happy set and outlined the flowers in Stardust Stickles. Lastly, I wrapped some black and white twine around and tied a cute little bow. Super quick card that really packs a punch, that's what I love about watercolors!

Hope you can play along with us today, there is also a sketch challenge! Check that one out here!

Thanks for stopping by, enjoy the rest of your weekend!
