Viva la Verve!

Well it's that time of the week! Time for a new Viva la Verve challenge:) You can read all about it HERE!!! I hope you come play along with us!

Here's my sample for this weeks sketch--

This weeks {Twist} is a color challenge: Purple, Chocolate, and Vanilla! I saw this combo on a Martha Stewarts picture on the website and immediately fell in love! The colors are so warm and rich together!

I used the flower from Believe {on sale now! $10 of every purchase of this set goes directly to the Susan G Komen For the Cure foundation!} and randomly stamped it on a piece of vanilla cardstock (PTI) in Plum Pudding ink (also PTI). I used some EK Sucess punches on the chocolate and Plum Pudding pieces. I stamped the flower again in Espresso ink (Adirondack) on a piece of Chocolate and again on a piece of Plum Pudding cardstock and cut them out. I sewed the stem and cut a vanilla leaf for the flower too! The sentiment, oh how I love it. It's so true and such an uplifting one! Uplifting is the corner stone of Verve Stamps and I just love that. Everything about every stamp set Julee creates Ooooozes uplifting-ness, lol!
