Reverse Confetti Release Day Blog Hop!

We’ve been counting down the days, and it’s finally here—a new release from REVERSE CONFETTI! It’s the 8th of the month (Reverse Confetti blog hop day) and this time we are looking forward to those fall days and the spooky treats that come our way for Halloween. Come and hop along with the Confetti Crew as we share some creative ideas using September’s five new trendy stamp sets. Along with the Confetti Crew (our fabulous design team), we have also invited some extra friends to join in on the action!

I had myself a good ole' time with all these new stamp sets and saved plenty to share with you today!

This one uses the sentiment from Count Your Rainbows, the hearts from Forever Fall, and the "xoxo" is letters from the new alpha set called Lighthearted Letters. I colored the "count" in with my Viva Decor glitter pen.

I created the lattice background by trimming thin strips of cardstock and then gluing them on. I added some sparkly rhinestones to the joints for an almost "quilted" look.

Next up is a fun fall card!

I created a negative space by cutting a circle out of some cardstock, and then stamped the woodgrain stamp inside to create the circle of woodgrain. I kept this card really simple with just a sentiment, some buttons, and sewing. *and more woodgrain, cause I love it so!* All stamps on this card are from Forever Fall.

Last up is a fun halloween card!

I had a hard time photographing this one, so I apologize for the poor quality. I die cut some butterflies from black cardstock and then used one of the background stamps from Whole Lotta Dots and clear embossed the butterflies. The sentiments are from Spooky Sentiments and the spider webs from Spooky Cuties.

Countdown to Confetti Day 3: Spooky!

Hello! I'm back today with another peek at a new set! Today, we have TWO sets to share with you: Spooky Cuties and Spooky Sentiments. You will love these!

The sentiment is from Spooky Sentiments and the pumpkin and ghost are from Spooky Cuties. The pumpkin actually comes in three pieces...the pumpkin, the face, and the stem. Super fun!

I used some older halloween paper, Witch Hazel by October Afternoon. I also went around the border of the card and stamped the little scroll border from Spooky Sentiments in white ink. 

I just love these spooky cuties, heehee!

Birthday Dash

Hi there! Has anyone else been busy or is it just me? In the past week, we've traveled to Washington and Montana and I'm just pooped! So that explains why no updates in a week:) But today, I have a fun card to share, that was supposed to be for the 10 minute Craft Dash, but ended up being a 45 minute craft marathon, lmbo!

Besides the 10 minute time constraint, the challenge was to use rose, light orange, and corn flower blue! The colors, I got! The time constraint? Not so much...I really did try, I just don't have it in me, lol!

I used three Reverse Confetti stamp sets for this card. the sentiment panel is from Celebrate Cake, the flags and "#" are from Arrows n' Elements, and the polka dots on the rose strip in the background is from Whole Lotta Dots!

Deconstructed Sketch #114 - Good Times

Hi there! Anybody ready for a new Deconstructed Sketch? Feast your eyes on DS114!

Here's my sample with an old favorite Verve set, Great Friend...

I bought THREE of these Teresa Colin's paper pads because I love them *so* much! These patterns and colors are just...well...fabulous! I do plan on using all three paper pads, so I'm not really a hoarder, ha!

Along with the Great Friends stamp set, I used the leafy sprigs from Sunny Days and the corresponding Leafy Sprigs die set.

Just Because...

Over the weekend, I made a BUNCH of cards. Most for assignments, but a couple of them I made just because. These always end up being my favorite! I pulled out "You Make My Day" by MFT and had this after an hour or so:)

I used the big butterfly from Inspired by Butterflies and the flags are from the Jumbo Fishtail Banners.

I played with the new Mojo Monday sketch and my Take Note and Borderline stamp sets...

I did some faux sewing with the border stamp from Borderline and the rest of the stamps are from Take Note! I tried to do some doodling on the oval sentiment piece, but it was a fail, lol! I should have left well enough alone, but I thought it would turn out better, oh well! I still like the card:)

Viva la Verve! Teachers Count

Hi there! I'm here today with a quick card for this week's Viva la Verve sketch challenge! 

In honor of school starting here this Monday (???) I thought I'd pull out my Teacher's Count and Apple die sets!

I used some DP from Echo Park, I love these colors! So bright and cheerful:) Just like a kid getting up for the 1st day of school, ha!;)  I stamped the number stamp randomly for the background piece, and then stamped the "thank you along the green cardstock.

I absolutely adore the apple dies! Along with the stamps, it's a SNAP to cut out and stamp these adorable apples!!!

DS112-Lovely Birthday

Hey there! I'm back today with a sample for a new Deconstructed Sketch!

This is a sketch I designed for Jen while she was busy moving in to her new place! I hope you can play along, this is one of my favorite sketches!

I used some stamps and dies from MFT! The sentiment stamp is from a new birthday set, which I can't find the name of right now, and the flower and leaves are from Tropical Sensations!
