Seasons Givings Blog Hop

Hello there and HAPPY NEW YEARS!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't believe it's JANUARY? Where did the time go? I swear it feels like it's only August, ha!

I've had so many wonderful things happen in my life in 2013, and am so thankful for all the blessings. Most things aren't "noteworthy" and I won't bore you with them, but suffice it to say that I have been blessed in big ways, and I look forward to all the new coming in 2014 :)

Here's a card I created with some of my favorite RC stamp sets (listed below), So Stripey and Be a Barista! I stamped the solid stripe in gray ink on the white card base. I stamped the tea cup on a piece of patterned paper and cut it out and then popped it up on dimensionals. The gray stripey frame is from a package of frames I got from Michaels, can't remember if it's Smash or the Recollections brand.

I punched out a little white oval to serve as the little saucer under the cup, but once I added these vellum flowers you can't really see it:)

Look ma, no stamping! Almost...

I did a little crafty shopping at my fave scrapbook store this week and bought some of these fun packages of ephemera. I just dumped it out to see what kind of fun goodies it held and started layering pieces and came up with a card. These pieces are from the Record It ephemera pack by MME.

The doily didn't come in the pack, and I did end up doing some stamping because I thought the top looked a little bare. I pulled out my Whole Lotta Dots stamp set from Reverse Confetti and stamped some white dots. I also really love the triangle trio from Tinsel n' Trim so I stamped that in the bottom right corner. So *almost* no stamping, and this card was done in about 10 minutes. I know, a little early on the love theme, but I am about finished with Christmas cards:)

Reverse Confetti December Color Challenge

Good morning! I'm here today to bring you the Reverse Confetti's 2nd color challenge! Each month on the 16th, you'll get a NEW color challenge to play with, super fun!

How gorgeous are these colors? Super fun colors to change up the ole faithful red and green for Christmas:)

I bought a bunch of glitter paper from Michaels the last time I was there and thought this would be the perfect opportunity to use some up! The sentiment from Tinsel n' Trim is PErFEcT, don't you think? :)

I used the largest tag from Tag Me and cut out a tag from this pink heart paper. The chevron frame is a fun find from Michaels as well. I love all the Smash Book and Project Life accoutrements, they're fun for cards as well as for scrapbook albums!

I also stamped the loopy stamp from Tinsel n' Trim along the outside border of the card. I thought it was a fun addition, as well as some wooden snowflakes and a button!

December Diva Dare

I'm up today on the Verve Blog! This month's Diva Dare is "Playing Favorites" so the girls are pulling out there favorite Verve creations for the year, or stamping up something new. I decided to stamp something new since I'm too lazy to go back through all my cards and choose favorites, lol!

First I stamped the presents from Borderline in the corners of the kraft card base. Then I added a piece of double-sided patterned paper and folded opposing corners in, so you could see the presents in the background.

The flowers are from Poppy Birthday, another favorite stamp set from this year! Super fabulous Poppy building set, plus matching dies!

The sentiment is from Poppy Birthday and the scalloped frame is from Making a Statement.The frame was cut out with the coordinating Rounded Scallop Frame die. The faux stitching is a stamp from Borderline, love it! I also added some of the small banners from the Banner Bundle die set.

December Reverse Confetti Blog Hop

Hello there! I hope you are having a wonderful weekend! It's been chilly here in Arizona, in the 50s' and I'm loving it! I wish we got snow here, but I know those of you up north and wherever you have negative temps are probably hating me right now, lol!

December SFYTT-Merry & Bright

Hello and Happy Thanksgiving! I figure we're still in the same weekend, so I can still wish you a happy thanksgiving:)

I'm here today with a sample for the new December Sketch for You to Try {SFYTT}

I used stamps from our newest release, you'll want to get these asap! They're so much fun!

The sentiments are from Bring on the Merry and the triangle stamp and "dec 25th" are from Tinsel n' Trim. I also cut out a small tag and the tag banner from the Tag Me Confetti Cuts.

Christmas Joy! Verve Blog Hop

We're release an adorable new mini set called Christmas Joy today, as well as a compilation of our beautiful Plain Jane scriptures. I've got a card to share today using Christmas Joy

I colored the little bird up and then cut him out. If you see little gray dots, he doesn't have chicken pox! I had planned this card a whole other way and had him in a snowy landscape, but it didn't work out, so I cut him out:) I created little snowy hills by tearing cardstock and then glittering the edges.

The ribbon is also from Verve, from the Stormy Skies collection.

Count on You

Hi there! I have a quick card to share this morning. I had all weekend to get crafty and had no commitments so it was fun to just stamp for no good reason! :)

I'm kinda tired of fall colors on my cards already so I had to go back to some pastels:) I stamped the polka dots from Whole Lotta Dots and embossed them in white on the background. I cut out a Sweet Treat Tent die and cut off the bottom with some pinking shears and cut a heart out of the middle. After cutting the heart, I added a piece of kraft cardstock behind the negative.

The "friend..." from our alpha set Lighthearted Letters and the sentiments are from Count your Rainbows.

I also stamped the chevron from Arrows n' Elements in pink ink and cut them out and added them as well. Some buttons, twine, and sequins round this card out!

I wanted to play around with the new Be a Barista stamp set! Isn't this stamp set so much fun? It's unlike any other coffee stamp set out there, I love the fillable coffee cup, you can add whatever fun filling you want;)
