Thanks for PERKING me up!

I have been making OODLES of cards this week! Billy and I are heading back to the states for a few weeks on Saturday and I had to get ahead on some DT commitments, fun stuff! Whilest in my card making frenzy, I happened upon this image, already stamped out, that hadn't been colored yet! Joy! I just love Clementine the Teapot Girl by Stamping Bella, isn't she adorable?
I wanted the teapot blue so I found some matching papers by October Afternoon!
I'm always afraid I'm coloring too much and then I see pictures and I'm like "DANGIT!" lol! I could have colored her teapot alot darker! Oh well, I still love how she turned out:) The sentiment is from a really adorable set by Our Craft Lounge called "Fueled by Caffeine"
I started on this card and wanted to use Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch but it actually turned out NOTHING like the sketch, lol! I'm not going to submit this to her challenge but wanted to shout out anyways since I *did* use it to some extent:)

**On the subject of "Perking Up" I'd like to say THANK YOU to Michelle Woerner and Teresa Kline! Ya know why? They PERKED ME UP by giving me an extra pass to CHA in January! OMG it's true! I get to go to CHA!!! Thanks so much girls for hookin' me up, I can't wait to meet all my stamping friends, face to face! Are YOU going to CHA? Let me know if you are, I'd love to meet you!**

Okay, that's it from me today! Off to watch Dancing with the Stars! I still don't know who to root for, they all kind of annoy me this year, but if I had to pick right now, it'd be Jennifer Gray. She started out as my favorite by a long shot but lately she's been so whiney and irritating! Still, she's the best talent I think. Her and Brandy but I prefer Baby...I mean Jennifer Gray:)

Darling image and card, Amber. Congrats on your CHA pass. I'm sure you will have loads of fun and little sleep LOL! I'm a DWTS fan too. LOVED Lacey and Kyle's second dance - so much energy and fun :) I'm not sure about who to root for just yet either.

Good article. It is extremely unfortunate that over the last several years, the travel industry has already been able to to deal with terrorism, SARS, tsunamis, bird flu, swine flu, along with the first ever true global downturn. Through all of it the industry has really proven to be robust, resilient and also dynamic, discovering new solutions to deal with trouble. There are generally fresh issues and the possiblility to which the industry must again adapt and reply.
