Saturday Sketch Cards *SFYTT and CA&F*

Good morning! It was a lovely Saturday here in Okinawa, HOT though. Here it is, almost November, and it was 88 degrees and humid! Ahhh the joys of living on a tropical island...
As you know, today is SFYTT day! I also have a card for the Club Anya Saturday Sketch!
First up is my SFYTT project. Jen brought us another FABULOUS sketch today, and what's even better, we're being sponsored by Laura Pryor of Lil' Inkers! She's designed the most adorable stamp set with several cute banners and sentiments! The best part? It comes with a DIE! Makes those banners so easy to make! I can see this becoming an addiction;)
I paired the banner set with a fun image from MFT called "Don't Open Until"! I found some really awesome new paper at my local Copic store and I'm in love! It blends really well. I stamped my image in Memento Tuxedo Black and then colored it in with Copics. I airbrushed the sky in instead of sponging it, it just looks so much cleaner this way! I also added a bunch of liquid pearls around the scallops. I found a really great tip on a blog the other day (forgot which one, darn it!).  You know when you use liquid pearls it's hard to not get that annoying "peak" at the top? Well if you just gently flick the back of your cardstock after you apply your pearls, they round out giving you perfect little pearls instead of those peaks! Fabulous tip!

The stamp set can be purchased on Laura's Blog, Lil' Inkers by clicking on the "purchase" button on the upper right hand corner of her blog! It's only $15 and it comes with the die! If you'd rather have it for FREE then just play along in our sketch challenge this week! One lucky winner will receive this set for free! Just make sure to link your cards (if you're linking your blog, please only link to the post with your SFYTT card on it, not your whole blog!) on Jen's blog and good luck!

Check out the rest of my SFYTT Sistah's and see what they did with this fun set!

Okay, if you're still with me *and I hope you are!* here is this week's Saturday Sketch with Club Anya & Friends!
Nice and easy, CAS layout! I really enjoyed this one, here's my card with Cafe' Ian!
Doesn't he look so suave in his little three-piece suit? I love this guy! I paired him up with a sentiment from one of MFT's A la Modes (which appears to be out of stock, must be a popular one!) The cardstock base is Enchanted Evening (as is the ribbon and buttons) and the dp is from the new Wander by Basic Grey.

Let's go see what my team-mates have done with this sketch, shall we?
