Here's my submission using "Make a Wish" by Taylored Expressions! I just love this set! The best part is, Taylor is donating money from each set sold to a children's charity. 

So I've seen the DT and Taylor herself whipping up amazing cards with this awesome cake and it just made me want it so bad! So guess what came in my mailbox today?:)

The dp is from Pixie-licious by Cosmo and the cardstock (Ripe Avacado, Plum Pudding, Lavendar Moon) is all by PTI.

Miss Anya Lounge, Take 2!

I had to schedule my blog post and as you can image, figuring out the time difference from Oki to the states and then scheduling in the future from the past is confusing, lmbo! ....you've SEEN the previews.... you've heard the screaming....and now, here's just another little peek of what you can do with these ADORABLY CHIC and SASSY new "Miss Anyas" from The Greeting Farm:

Introducing: MISS ANYA LOUNGE 

Again, these sassy ladies are just PERFECT! I colored this one to match my Cosmo Cricket papers and used some sparkly flowers by Petaloo! Cardstock, buttons, and ribbon are all PTI. The sentiment is from Anya Says by TGF:) It's hard to see when I use light colors, but I airbrushed the oval behind Miss Anya with a YR20 marker. It's an exact match for Versamagic Wheat chalk ink that I really love for sponging! Air Brushing is so much easier to me, no worrying about sponge lines or anything! Perhaps I'll do a toot on it one day:) Not rocket science, but just to show you how *I* do it...

These sassy chicks will be available at The Greeting Farm in JUST two days-October 1st, but there is ONE set hidden on a DT member's blog today!    So grab a cuppa somethin', sit back, relax and LOUNGE as you have a blast seeing the samples today!

Her and all her friends will be released this Friday, October 1st!!

How stinkin' cute is she? She makes me want to pull out my winter clothes! Oh wait, I don't have any of those because it's 1000 degrees all year round here in Okinawa, bwahaha!

I digress, this little chick is so fun to color! I love these stamp sets because you can kind of design their outfits, kwim? I made her match the fabulous papers from Cosmo Cricket's "Togetherness" line!

SFYTT-Hallo Witch!

Hey friends! SO sorry my SFYTT is late this weekend! Been a BUSY one filled with crashed emails, no internet, manicures, taking the dogs to the pool for "Dog Days of Summer" and dinner with my sweetie! BUT I just loved this sketch so much so I MADE time to do it today!

Here's my card using the ADORABLE Hallo Witch digi from The Greeting Farm!

This image printed off pretty big so I made my card a 5x5 square. The purple/black papers are from Hallowee'en in Wonderland by Graphic 45 and the green polka dot papers are from SU! The sentiment is from Holiday Best, also by SU!

VLV September Week 5-Thinking of You

Hello! Anyone looking for a sketch challenge? We have a fun one for you in the Verve Forums on Splitcoast! Here's the sketch:

And here's my sample:

I chose to combine my inspiration from two of the inspiration pictures (see the thread for details). I really loved the black and white room but wanted a pop of color! So I used Terracotta Tile which I picked out from another inspiration picture:)

The flower image and sentiment are from Kind Words by Verve. I love this set, the fonts and sentiments are so beautiful!

FFF-Sketchy Seal!

Good morning and happy FRIDAY! I don't know about you but I *SERIOUSLY* need this weekend! What a busy week, but I'm sure we're ALL busy! I should be happy to be busy right? It means I have a job...and make money...and can buy STAMPS with that money, lol! There is an UPSIDE to EVERYTHING!

Okay, enough jabbering, it's Friday morning and I haven't even made it through my first cup of coffee so I may not be making sense, hee!

Today, Mercy gave us a SUPER fun sketch to play with!

And here's my card using one of the newest Critters added to the Crew, Robbie Seal! Robbie is a DIGITAL image and they print out BeAuTiFUlLy on Neenah cardstock! No smearing, even when coloring RIGHT out of the printer! Here is a page with ALL the critters! They're seriously SO CUTE!

I used some papers from the Bittersweet pad by Basic Gray and some Ripe Avacado cardstock. I colored the sweet seal in with my Copics and then used the out of the box technique to leave the cupcakes towering above the image:) I love this image! The sentiment is from Artful Elegance by Verve Stamps. I added some ribbon tabs to the image, punched some pink felt with a PTI die, and added some Scarlet Jewel buttons to the  scallops! I really had a lot of fun making this card and I'm super excited to see the rest of the crew and farmer's cards using this fun sketch!

I wish stamping mojo to anyone out there suffering from a lack thereof! I know I have been, but there is nothing like a sketch challenge to beat it! This week's Mojo Monday #157 sketch is SO fun and I had a blast creating with it!

The card base is Spring Moss, the purple cardstock/buttons are Plum Pudding, and the patterned paper is from Pixi-licious by Cosmo Cricket! LOVE that paper, HATE to cut into it but it's TOO pretty to hide away, lol! What a conundrum!!

IC250-Terracotta Flowers

Hi there, remember me? I'm Amber! And I've been BAAAAD about updating my blog the past couple weeks, SO SORRY! I have alot of stuff going on at work with getting out of the Air Force, outprocessing, med appts, school, etc...it all piled on at once and didn't leave me much time or mojo for stamping! But I got in my stamp room tonite and didn't come out till I put something together, lol! 

I was looking at the Inspiration Challenge this week on Splitcoast and fell in LOVE with this picture:

I really want that orange bag, and the green one! And the blue one! LOL! As soon as I saw this picture, I really wanted to create a card with a new set by Verve called Dream Big! 

I stamped the flowers from Dream Big in Versamark ink and embossed with white powder. All 3 layers are popped up on dimensionals for some fun! I added some buttons to the flower centers and a couple rows of silver pearls for some bling!

I'll be back tomorrow with a Mojo card! I got one started but I'll have to finish it tomorrow, this girl is TIRED!:)

A *SWEET* SFYTT!!

Hiya friends! I'm here with another SFYTT challenge sample! This week's sketch is SUPER fun and I just know you'll have fun with it too!

Here's my card using Sweet Anya, recently released by TGF!

I colored Anya in with Copics on Neenah cardstock and cut her out with my rectangle Nestabilities.The dp is from Pixi-licious by Cosmo Cricket! I seriously love this paper and hated to cut into it, every piece of paper in this pack is beautiful!

The sentiment is from Happy Hello by Verve Stamps and the flowers are Primas!

Last time I was in the states and was in Michaels I bought a zillion packages of these silver pearls! I think their Recollections. LOVE them:)

VLV September Week 3-Delight in Life

Howdy ladies! Can you believe the weekend is almost over already? They seriously go TOO FAST! Now I know most of you are reading this on Sunday morning thinking, "Hey! There's still a whole day to go!" Well as I type this, it's 8:00 pm Sunday night (y'know, time difference and all) and we're getting settled in and ready to start our week! Well, what better way than to FINALLY get my VLV card sample done? 

How much do you love those colors together? About as much as me? Our inspiration this week comes from a  gorgeous Etsy shop called StyleyWalls!  This fabulous lady has some gorgeous wall art and the one I chose to use as inspiration is, well, my favorite {obviously!} The stamp set I used is one of my all-time favorites, Miracles Blossom! Not only does it have some really fun floral images but the sentiments and font styles are FABULOUS! The colors I used are Rich Razzleberry and Bermuda Bay by SU! and White and Chocolate from PTI. I also added some white liquid pearls to the scallops and the SU! edge punch! I love the dimension the liquid pearls add:)

I colored everything in with my Copics and used the new Matilda stack from Cosmo Cricket. To get the gradient night sky, I airbrushed B93 on the top and B95 on the bottom. I had to use my back up camera for this because my good one died and it really didn't capture the color to my taste. You can't even tell but I colored Jennifer the Witch green! She's so cute!

Farm Fresh Friday-You MOVE me!

Hey there chickie-poos! This is a SUPER quick post for now because I have to get to work and forgot to schedule this post to go automatically! GRRR! 

Today's Farm Fresh Friday challenge is to incorporate moving parts on your cards! This was tough for me, so I went with a pull out tag on my card:)

I used the ever-so-sweet Irvin Sax! I just love him and his cute saxophone! I used the fabulous new "Wanted" papers by Cosmo Cricket and some Soft Suede cardstock and Irvin was colored in with Copics.
