First up is this card using Snow Wonderful and the Mojo Monday 61 sketch:
I can't remember who made this dp and I am too lazy to crutch my way back upstairs to find out, lol! If I remember to, I'll update this post when I find out. The green cardstock base is Ripe Avacado by PTI. This color is soooo beautiful! A little greener shade of Old Olive by SU. The ribbon is also by PTI. I stamped a snowflake from Snowflake Splendor in Riding Hood Red on the red panel. Pretty simple card, but I loved the layout and thought it was perfect for this snowman image and the tree dp!
My next card is one I made using the fab Ornamental Christmas set!
I love the pinks and reds in this dp and thought how cool would a Christmas ornament look with those trees on it? Well, now I know! I stamped the ornament onto the dp with versamark and embossed it with silver ep. I poked a small hole in the top of the ornament and threaded some silver cording through it, but it looks kinda funny in this picture! I also embossed the sentiment with silver ep.
The next project I made is for this weeks Technique Lover's Challenge. The challenge was to make vellum wine glass shades. I absolutely love how this turned out and I plan to make one for everyone in my office as a Christmas gift!
I stamped the snowflake with Heat and Stick powder and then sprinkled some turqouise glitter on and heated it up. The sparkle doesn't show up at all in this picture but IRL it is SO sparkly! I added some ribbon to finish it off and then put my little party lite tea lite in a WA-LA! It's such a cute little idea, I'm so glad I tried it!
Okay, now, my last card is for today's color challenge on SCS. I was talking to Christy on the phone earlier and we were talking about the cute Whiff of Joy stamps I bought a few months ago. I stamped some off for her and she's already used them, and I still hadn't used ONE for myself! So I told her I'd use one on today's color challenge! I also used last weeks sketch challenge.
Isn't she so cute blowing her little hearts? I thought this sentiment from the Unity December KOM fit perfectly! The colors for the challenge are Riding Hood Red, Baja Breeze, and Taken with Teal. I colored her in with Copics and then added that big ole' Prima (from one of Christy and my MANY trips to Michaels while we were in WA!)
So there you have it! My busy day! And I even managed to go to lunch and the BX, lol!

Such beautiful cards! I have to tell you that I love your blog! I have been lurking since the first Unity Hip Hop and return often for inspiration. I want to thank you also for having the link for Dina Kowal listed. She made me a watermark last week and it is beautiful! I hope you are enjoying Okinawa. We were stationed there from 00-03 on Camp Kinser! Almost afraid to say I miss it. ;) Take care!
