Confetti Countdown: I LIke You!

Hello there! Are you ready for the last set of Reverse Confetti sneak peeks? These amazing new sets will all be available tomorrow morning (tonight?:) at midnight!
Today we're peeking a new set called I Like You, which should be called "I *love* You" because I love this set:)

I really love the font style that Jen has chosen, it's really fun don't you think? This set has the "I like You" sentiment plus a bunch of other things we ladies like love:) I used papers from MME and a fun Prima flower that I have in my Prima stash from like 4 years ago, I really need to use those more often, they're awesome! The dotted border and fabulous ampersand are also from I Like You. I have just the person to send this card to! I just love it when I actually send one out, ha!

We have a little something for YOU! Leave a comment on my post today for your chance to win a $25 Gift Certificate to REVERSE CONFETTI! You have until 1 pm EST on May 7th to leave a comment. Countdown to Confetti: Dream in Color & Peacock Pretties

Hello and welcome to Day TWO of the Reverse Confetti May Release Sneak Peeks! Did you love yesterday's set or WHAT? Super cute little nautical set, every stamper needs it in her arsenal;)

Today we're peeking TWO new sets, and they are FANTASTIC! Yes I really am that excited, ha!

This card uses images and a sentiment from Peacock Pretties. I stamped the feathers in Melon Mambo and Bermuda Bay ink and then cut them out. Someone yesterday commented on my post that they loved the stamps and dies. Well let me set the record straight, there are NO dies for these stamps, just my good ole' fashioned Cutterbee's ;)

I kept this one pretty simple since it has a bunch of bright colors!

My next card uses stamps from the new Dream in Color set...

I knew right away that this was going to have to be a colorful card:) Ya can't have a sentiment like that in brown or gray, now can you? I cut out a bunch of flags with some MFT die-namics and then layered and sewed them down. I colored the "color" in with different Copics. I love the rainbow effect and think you're going to see that concept a lot today, ha!

Well that's all I have for today, I'm so glad you stopped by! Thank you all for your lovely comments yesterday, you really know how to make a girl feel good:)

Countdown to Confetti: Happy Harbor!

Hello there and welcome to DAY ONE of the First Reverse Confetti Stamp release!!! I'm so happy you're here and excited to help usher in the first Reverse Confetti stamps:)

The first set we're introducing is Happy Harbor! This is such an adorable set and I just know you're going to love it as much as we do!

I used many of the elements from this fabulous stamp set on my card today! The sentiment, lighthouse, rope border, whale, and fish are all from Happy Harbor. The card base is Nightshade from MFT and the striped paper is from Simple Stories. I bought a wave border (EK Success) just for this set, because I know I'm going to use it a ton this summer!

Here's one more set I did, again with the sweet little whale and Swell sentiment!

I can't wait to hear what you think of our release so far! I know all of us at RC are LOVING this release and can't wait for you to get these sets in your hot lil' hands!:)

Shine Brightly, Little Star

So I got my craft room all set back up yesterday and had to make a card right away! Something about unpacking and organizing all my crafty goodies really gets me happy and excited to make a card! I thought Sarah's sketch for this weeks' Viva la Verve! challenge was so fun so that is how I spent my morning:)

I had bought some new MME papers a couple weeks ago, and pulled out Quilting Bee for this card. I knew I wanted to do something with my Shining Star stamp set and the coordinating Starry die.

The flag is the 2nd largest die from the Banner Bundle and the banner stamp and "shine brightly" are from Remember This. Up under the ribbon are a couple flags from the Flag It die set.

Now that my room is all set up again and life has calmed down to a dull roar, I hope to be around much more often! Fun things on the horizon!! Thanks for stopping by today and PLEASE come play with us in the Verve Forums! You could win a $100 gift card for playing along each week!!

If you're looking for a little enabling, there are two more days of Verve's Spring sale! Click banner below to see what's on sale:)

Viva la Verve! April Week 3--You make me SMILE!

Hi there. Remember me? I didn't think so...it's been a while;)
Lots of stuff has been going on in my neck of the woods, which means my mojo ran off for awhile! Been taking classes, working, we sold our house, and are getting ready to move (on Thursday!) And wouldn't you know it, as soon as my scrapbook room is about to be packed away, my mojo comes whispering in my ear *go get inky!!* so I did. :)

It's been awhile since I played along with my Diva team mates in one of the VLV sketches, so I played along with Chrisyne's sketch for the week, Viva la Verve Week Three!
The stamp is one of Verve's Plain Janes, called Smile PJ. I love the styling of this sentiment and it fits just so perfectly inside the Classy Label Die!

You can also see a hint of one of the flags from the Flag It die set. I love that die set and feel like I use it on every card!  The papers are from Basic Grey's "Hey You" collection. I love the colors in this paper pad!

Well that's all I have for now, but hopefully I'll be back before another month goes by:) Thanks for stopping by, I missed you!!

Deconstructed Sketch No. 93

Hi there! I hope you're enjoying your weekend, I know I am! It's warming up to our spring weather now, so it's in the 90's, ha! Yep, summer is right around the corner *sigh*

I have a card to share with this week's Deconstructed Sketch (No. 93) today! Here's this week's sketch, it's a fun CAS one, if you can maintain the CAS style, ha! I tried, but alas...it was not meant to be...

Deconstructed Sketch No. 93

Here's my unCAS card:)

I swear the sketch is in there, you just really have to look for it, ha!

All stamps are from Lucky You, with the exception of the arrow border stamps on the sentiment panel. That stamp is from Borderline! The shamrocks are stamped on die cuts using my Shamrock Die Set.

The ribbon is from SU! and the little ribbon tags hanging under the ribbon are cut out using my Flag It die set, LOVE that die set! Also, you can see a hint of the border right above the ribbon, I did that using my Scalloped Trim Trio die set.

I hope you have a happy St. Paddy's Day!!! And May your Blessings outnumber the Shamrocks that Grow... :)

Deconstructed Sketch #92

Deconstructed sketch Badge

Hey there! I have a quick post today, we have a new sketch! This one is SUPER fun!
I give you DS92!!

Deconstructed Sketch No. 92

I made this tag into a card today, but you could make just a tag as well.

I used a bunch of Verve on my card. The sentiment is the new Smile Plain Jane, the flower is from Surely Goodness (cut out with Goodness Flowers die set), the large banner is from MFT as is the oval die cut behind the sentiment. The ribbon is from Verve's Signature Seam Binding Collection. This ribbon ties like BUTTAH! I love it:) There are FOUR beautiful collections, check them out HERE!

Okay, now go on and visit all my team mates! I'm sure they will blow you away with their samples using this sketch!
