FFF-Button it!

The theme for this weeks Farm Fresh Challenge is BUTTON IT UP! All you gotta do is create a card (with TGF stamps) and at least THREE buttons! That's it! Super easy, and I know you all have lots of buttons lying around, waiting to be used up! Here's my sample, using Irvin Sax!
I can't help it, but I just adore Irvin! His big ole' glasses are just SO CUTE! I used a kraft card base and a single sheet of paper from the Max and Whiskers line by Basic Gray! And the buttons and Soft Suede ribbon, which I LOVE, are from SU! The sentiment is from Cornish Heritage Farms' "U R A Hoot!"

Wouldn't you love to see what the TGF Farmers and Critter Crew have prepared for you? Go to the TGF Blog for more!

Here are the rest of the Critter Crew chicks!

Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Viva la Verve! June Week 3-Happy Birthday

So I'm only a *couple* days late posting my sample for this week's Viva la Verve challenge! It's a really fun one too, I just LOVE this sketch! Check it out:

And here's my sample:

Isn't it bright and girly? You have to go see THIS THREAD to see which room I used as my inspiration, I'm sure it'll be obvious when you see it;)

I used the super fun Happy Birthday Plain Jane (okay, this stamp is on sale for $2.40, you got SHOPPING to do!) and the sweet butterflies from Petals and Stems. The dsp is by SU, and of course I didn't look at the name so I don't know it off the top of my head! The ribbon and buttons are by PTI and I'm sure you can see my nesties and EK Success border punches. My cards are not complete unless they have buttons, border punches, and ribbon! I'm ADDICTED!!!

I hope you play along with us this week, we love to see lots of pretty cards! Remember Verve stamps are NOT required so you really don't have an excuse NOT to play! By playing along in all the challenges for the month, you are put in the hat to win the next FULL Verve Stamp release! I've seen the next one, and believe me, it's FABULOUS!!!!!!!!!!!

If you're looking for even MORE Verve fun, you still have a day or two left to get in on the Up, Up, and Away "Ready, Set, Stamp!" challenge! See THIS POST on the Verve blog for details! More chances to win;)

SFYTT-Skipping Stones Designs

Happy Saturday! We actually had a half decent day here in Okinawa, which is unusual during rainy season! But enough about that. You want to see this weeks SFYTT? Well here it is:
This week, we're being sponsored by a GREAT stamp company! Maybe you've heard of them? Skipping Stones Designs has some amazingly cute and funny stamp sets! You gotta check them out. The stamps are very high quality, and what I love about them is that they're trimmed close! Sometimes you get stamps that aren't trimmed all that close and it makes it easy to get ink where you DON'T want it! No worries with these stamps, they're wonderful! Check it out for yourself here ---> Click!

Here's my sample using the beautiful "Healing Wings"--

I really love this set, it has three gorgeous butterflies and several sentiments good for sympathy or friendship. I think this one is a real keeper! Isn't that butterfly amazing? I really wanted to color it in with my Copics but I really liked how it looked as is. I sprayed some Iridescent Gold Glimmer Mist on the butterfly but you really can't tell in this picture.

How about a chance to win some NEW releases from SSD? One lucky winner will receive BOTH new stamp sets just for playing along in this weeks sketch! Make sure to link your card up on Jen's Blog for your chance to win! I hear one of the new sets has something to do with a little movie called "Twilight"? GET OUT! Oh yeah, you don't want to miss this one!

Want more inspiration to get you going? Check out the rest of the wonderful SFYTT Sistah's!
Enjoy your day!!!

FFF-Let's get SKETCHY!!!

Mercy came up with a super fun sketch for this weeks Farm Fresh Friday challenge! I'm sure you'll agree, check it out:

Fun, right? I love those little strips of scraps she has behind the main image, IMMEDIATE inspiration:) Here's my card:

I used the little guy from "Sweet Messages", isn't he perfectly adorable? I love his sweet expression and how he seems to be thanking the bird, lol! SO CUTE! I colored this image in with my Copics and chose papers to match. The orange dp is from Thrift Shop by OA.

Head on over to the TGF Blog for samples from the awesome Farmers and Scrapbook DT, and you can check out my fellow Critter Crew mates below:

Hope you have a wonderful Friday! I'll be back in a bit with my sample for this weeks Viva la Verve challenge!

Mojo 142-Darby and Penelope

Okay, I have another new love! The Sweet November stamps by C.C. Designs are SO DANG CUTE! I bought a few of the digi's a couple days ago and have colored a few of them! I really wanted to make a card with this sweet image, so I used this weeks Mojo Monday sketch for the layout!
This is Darby and Penelope! Aren't they the sweetest??? I colored them in with Copics in colors to match the Beautiful Blooms dp by PTI. That white polka dot on red pp is from the Beautiful Blooms pack! I used Pure Poppy and Hawaiian shores cardstock and the sentiment is from Best Yet by SU!

I'm calling it an early night, I'm having a hard time shaking this cold off and I'm quite tired of it!;) But I leave you with this, this is Jesse, as he lies right now, lol! Love his little gray beard!

And just because I can't leave my sweet Luke out...

Have a great day:)

CPS 170-Love you Muchly!

I made a quick card tonite after work for this week's CPS sketch, sponsored by MFT! I've been wanting to bust out my PI girls for awhile now so figured this was the perfect opportunity! I just *love* flower girl!
The papers are Fly a Kite by OA and the ribbon is PTI. I colored her in with my Copics and even did a little sewing:)

So I'm keepin' it short tonite, I want to go finish my book now, the plot is thickening!;)
Have a wonderful week!!

Got a quick card for this weeks SFYTT! I sure had a hard time with this sketch, but it finally came together and I love what I ended up with:)
Here's the sketch-
And here's my card!

The card base is Ripe Avacado and the dp is from Cappella by Basic Gray. The sentiment, which I adore, is from Blessings by Verve!

Check out the other ladies, they have some gorgeous cards awaiting!;)

Farm Fresh Friday-Bling it on!!!!!!!!!!

Hello there! So I've been unusually quiet lately, haven't I? No excuse really, just been reading and school work! I do have a card to share for today's Farm Fresh Friday challenge! The challenge this weeks is BLING! More specifically, base your card on your favorite piece of jewelry! You can choose something you own, go browsing on Etsy, or even use your birth stone as inspiration. I went shopping on Esty and found this wonderful store by Miss Turtle Designs! She has the CA-UTEST scrabble tile jewelry! I think I'm gonna buy a few! This is my inspiration piece, found HERE:
I went searching for jewelry I could use to inspire a Pinto Pony card, because as you know, I'm SO in love with this pony!
Here's my card--

She is WAY to cute to "Gothy-ify" isn't she? So at least I stuck with the color scheme:) She is just way too fun to color!

The black polka dot paper is from PTI's Bitty Dot collection. You can't see in the picture, but I colored over the pony's hair with my Clear Spica pen for a little sparkle! The sentiment is from Accent Notes by Verve.

Go take a peak at the TGF Blog to see what the other ladies came up with! Here is a list of my fellow Critter Crew--
Thanks for visiting me today!!! Have a great weekend:)
