I adore the sweet Christmas tree in this kit! Isn't it fun and funky at the same time? I colored it with Copics and then used one of the sweet sentiments from the kit, cut out with a Nestabilities lable die! The paper is Holiday Treasures by SU!, I believe it's retired...

Today, the Monday girls are pulling the sewing machines out! Or, pretending to at least;) Our challenge today is stitching--real or faux! If you want to play along with us, just link your card to one of our blogs so we can take a peek!
My card base is Vintage Cream and that fabulous dp is from Kioshi, by Basic Gray! I stamped the leaves in Kiwi Kiss ink and then added some Ocean Mist and Spring Moss vintage buttons by PTI. The edge punch is by Martha Stewart and the lace is some pretty stuff I picked up at the 100 Yen store (lucky me, lace is SO cheap here!)
Check out the rest of the sweet girls to see what they came up with! You'll be sure to spot some new Unity releases along the way so you don't want to miss it!

Fun, right? Here's my sample using the NEW and FABULOUS "Relax"!
How much do you love those surf boards? And the waves, and sun, and sentiments? It all adds up to a MUST have set! I just went and bought the Copic Airbrush System today and LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! I airbrushed a little B02 for the sky! Billy says, "how come you didn't just stamp it on a blue oval?" LOL! What a silly guy, he just doesn't get that it's all in the process, huh?? Hhaha! It was a first attempt, so it's nothing special but boy am I having fun with it! I stamped the surfboards on some MM papers. I stamped the waves and then colored them in with Copics as well.
Check out what the other ladies came up with this week!

Everything on this card except for the ribbon is from the Cherry on Top kit! Do you see that cork border on the bottom? That sheet of cork comes in the kit! Today was another one of those days, ya know? You just want to come home, curl up in a ball and go to sleep! Well, one other thing I felt like doing, besides go to sleep, was color! I don't know what it is about these darling TGF stamps, but something just beckons to me, they BEG to be colored! I got a new load of TGF yesterday and stamped off this sweetie pie girl from Miss Anya Dressy and it just so happens that she qualifies for this week's Flutter By challenge! The only rule to the Flutter By challenges is that there must be a butterfly, angel, or fairy on your card. Do you see the cute little butterfly on Miss Anya's hat? TOO CUTE!
I used paper from MME and the white card base is PTI. The white cardstock that Anya is stamped on is Neenah Solar White, 80#. I am finding that this is my preferred Copic coloring paper! It's super smooth and takes the alcohol ink really well. The corderouy buttons (umm...HEAVEN!) are by SU! The "smile" sentiment is from "Say it with Style" by PTI.
There is alot of fun happening with Unity next week! Did you know we'll be celebrating our 2nd anniversary??? Well, you should totally come hang out with us next week in the forums, there will be a TON of things going on! You won't want to miss it! Head on over to the Unity Blog to get in on the Hip Hop action!!!
Also, Verve is having a new release this week! Go on over to the Verve Blog to see the Spotlights! I'll have some projects to share here on my blog tomorrow so come back then!
Hey there! Super quick post today! Some of the Monday Chicks have a "Mother's Day" themed card to share today! I broke out last years Mother's Day release, "Because of You" by Verve!
Julee just comes up with THE perfect sentiments for the Verve stamps, and I think this one has to be one of my Top 5 FAVORITE Verve sentiments. It really says exactly how I feel about my mom, so I think this is the perfect card to give her:)
Go by these fabulous ladies' blogs and show them some love!
***Please scroll down to see my SFYTT sample! Thank you:)***
Today, the Caffinated Cropper is sponsoring the Etsy Inspired Challenge! Have you ever participated with EIC before? Neither have I, but that's about to change! It was so much fun! This weeks inspiration is coming to you from the Cose Dolci shop!
Here's how you play along:
1. Go to the Cose Dolci store and pick any item to be inspired by (subject matter, colors, layout, anything.) Make a creation.
2. Post a link to your creation on the EtsyInspired #84 post on the EtsyInspired blog by next Friday April 23, noon Pacific time. A winner will be chosen from the people who enter.
3. If you upload to SCS or PCP, please you keyword EIC84. You may enter as many times as you like.
This is the picture that inspired me:
As soon as I saw the patchwork done on those squares of fabric, I knew that's what I wanted to do on my card!
All the different 2x2 squares of paper were stictched to the card base, and then I had to cover them up with that big ole' scalloped circle, lol! That wasn't the original plan, but it had to work out that way! I just really wanted to use that cherry tree from the EAD Designs Stickerz you recieve when you buy the "Cherry On Top" kit! EVERYTHING on this card is from the kit except for the Hibiscus Burst ribbon and cardbase (both PTI). The "Cherry Up" sentiment is also from the EAD Stickerz, and I colored it in with a Copic marker to turn it pink, to match the colors of the card! Can you see the red rhinestone cherries? The rhinestones (Kaiser) also come in the kit! In fact, there is so much awesome stuff in this kit, I'll post another picture of the kit for you, in case you haven't seen it yet!
Lots of goodies, right? Man, I have SO much left from this kit and I've already made 3 cards! If you participate in this weeks EIC challenge, and you're chosen as the winner, you could win a MINI Cherry on Top kit! Seriously, how fun is that???????????/
Check out what the other CCDT girls made for today's challenge!
Well hello there! So nice to see you today:) I can only HOPE that your weather is as beautiful as it was here today! It was GORGEOUS! Billy and I went for a little drive and went to the Okinawa Zoo! It was so fun, the monkies are my FAVORITE! I have fun pictures, but those will probably go on my facebook since you really only come here to see crafty stuff, I'm sure;)
So without further ado, here is this week's SFYTT!
And here is my card! I used another sweet Anya from The Greeting Farm! Isn't she adorable? I colored her in with my Copic markers.
The sentiment is from PTI's "Say it with Style" and the papers are from MM's English Garden collection. The buttons are also from PTI's Spring Rain and Sweet Blush Vintage Button collections.
Make sure to check out with the other SFYTT Sisters have created and play along with us! If you upload to a gallery, use the keyword "SFYTT" so they can all be in one lovely spot:)
Howdy doo, lovely ladies! Isn't it a beautiful day for a Hip HOp? It was a ROUGH day at work for me today, so it's nice to come home to my Unity stamps and stamp my little heart out and forget the worries of the day! I love that about this little obsession hobby of ours:)
If you haven't started this hop from the beginning, start on the Unity Blog and go through that way so you don't miss a SINGLE BLOG on this hop! You won't regret it;)
Today I have a *sweet* little card for you using some fun stamps from the April KOM, Together we Bloom!
I got the whole idea for this card when I was playing with this red dp by PTI. I put it down on my desk and it happened to fall onto this little scrap of felt! I thought, "hmm...mebbe I should sew that paper onto that felt and see what happens?" Turns out it is SUPER cute! Then with the colors I thought "Hey, there is a BERRY ADORABLE strawberry stamp and sentiment in the new KOM! Lets use that!" And my card was born:) I also just recently bought these sparkly blooms by Petaloo and thought the sparkly red flower looked just AWESOME on this card! I colored the strawberry in with Copics, in case you were wondering;)
So you ready to move on to the next stop? You're on your way to Jen Buck's beautiful blog! Just hit the button below and be swept off to her beautiful world:)
Have you seen this months CC kit? It's VERY Cherrylicious!
See what I mean? Have you ever seen a prettier pile of stuff? All of the papers, embellishments, stamps, ribbon, all coordinates SO well! You can grab a handful of stuff from this kit and just make it WORK! Love that:) Here's a little card I created, all from this kit!
Okay actually, the only thing that is not from the kit is the white card base and the Fired Brick Distress Paint and Stickles rubbed all over the top heart.
Here's a close up of the hearts, which I love!!!
So what do you think? You want this kit, doncha? I don't blame you;) Go HERE to get a CHERRYLICOUS kit of your own!
And of course, what is a DT hop without a DT? Check out the blogs of these lovely ladies! You are sure to find inspiration at EVERY. SINGLE. STOP!
To say I'm obsessed is an understatement! Holy cow I've been busy coloring Anya's all afternoon and can't stop, lol! They are just SO fun! And there is even a few Edwards, *SWOON*! How adorable is he? This is "Flirty Edward"
This particular Edward is a digi image! I printed him on Neenah Solar White cardstock and then let him dry for awhile. Obviously, it was quite long enough! He looks a little emo I think, or like his guy-liner is running, lol! But what ACTUALLY happened, was that I was putting his *glitter* on and when I rubbed it around with my finger the ink started smearing, BOO! I am so sad but like I sad earlier, it makes him look a little emo and almost like he's sad cause "Love Bites", right? Just say RIGHT! :)
Close up of Edwards sparkle!
I'm pretty sure he's supposed to be wearing a shirt, but when I see this image, I see a sparkly edward running toward me in a meadow, with the sun shining down bouncing off his glittery skin! LOLOL! Okay, back to reality! The sentiment is from the Artful Inkables set "Fictionally Inspired" that my sweet friend Christy gave me last year (and this is the first time I'm using it, EEKS!) It's full of really fun Twilight quotes and phrases, I can see this becoming a staple set now that I have my Edward stamps:) This is my first submission for any Anya challenge and this one happens to be up on the TGF blog this week! The challenge this week is "Spring Cleaning"! So as you see, I'm using my AI sent iment set which has been buried and unloved for far too long! Cardstock base is Soft Stone (PTI), and the dp is all from the June Bug collection by Basic Gray.
Well that's all I have for today, Enjoy your Sunday!!!
Morning! I'm working DOUBLE duty with this post today! Not only do I have this weeks SFYTT sample, but it's also the day the Unity DT is posting samples with this month's Stampin' Store kit! If you didn't already know, the format of the Store Kits are changing a bit, Click HERE for the details!
Here's the weeks' SFYTT:
And here's my sample, using "Stuck on You" This is seriously a sketch I could go back to every day, it's SO easy and the layers REALLY work well together! Give it a try!
Don't you LOVE that image? I am so into sewing stamps lately, and this spool of thread just makes me smile:) It's really fun to color and you can easily customize the "thread" color to what color you dp is! In this case, I chose a Hawaiian Shores combo, since I'm using the Hawaiian Shores ribbon, cardstock, and buttons:) The sentiment is from "Best Wishes and Blooms"
Remember to hop on over to the Unity Blog to see a list of all the sweet ladies with eye candy for you today!
Also, check out my SFYTT Sistahs and see how they rocked this sketch!
Howdy Hip Hoppers! How are you enjoying the hop so far? LOTS of fabulous inspiration, I'm so HAPPY that HIP HOP is back!
I have a little card I made with one of the newest releases, Inside and Out! There are so many sweet, fun sentiments in this kit--good for many different occasions!
One thing I'm loving are these Hydrangea flowers, aren't they BEAUTIMOUS? I stamped the sentiment on Vintage Cream (PTI) cardstock in Plum Pudding (PTI) ink. The border punch is the Apron Lace punch by Fiskars. I also used Plum Pudding ribbon, and Star Dust Stickles on the heart in the sentiment and on the flower centers! The dp is from the Kioshi line by BG. I used this weeks Hip Hop sketch! Check it out:
Hop on over to the Unity Forums to play along in the sketch challenge and to party it up with the rest of the girls! Your next stop is Jen Buck!! Click the button below!
Thanks for hopping by! Enjoy your HIP HOPPING DAY!
Doesn't that sound yummy? I love me some cherries, especially the flathead cherries I used to get back home in Montana...mmmmmm!
Well, the next best thing to Flathead Cherries is this month's Caffinated Cropper kit, With a Cherry On Top! Buy it HERE! I got mine in the mail today, and as promised, tore into it IMMEDIATELY! Seriously, wow. I am just speechless with all the goodies in this kit, you could may 100 cards with all the stuff in this kit!
The pink and floral paper is the same sheet of paper by Little Yellow Bicycle! LOVE this paper, I think I wanna hoard the rest, lmbo! The only thing on this card NOT in the kit is the card base and the Regal Rose ribbon! That beautiful stamp is so fun! It actually comes with a few more elements and it's all one big ole beautiful stamp but I cut it apart so I can use all the bits and pieces seperately if I want to:) I used to be TERRIFIED of cutting stamps up, but now I am hooked! You can get a lot more mileage out of a stamp set by cutting it apart and using the different images alone or with other images! After I tied my ribbon bow, I added some of the super fun flowers to the bow center, I love how it turned out!
The buttons also come in the kit! Yeah, I adore buttons, can never have to many, EVER! Oh, the twine is from PTI...
If the layout looks familiar, it's this weeks sketch challenge on Splitcoast! Speaking of challenges, Amy has issued a challenge for you if you're interested! Okay, I actually have a card to share with you now, lol! As soon as I saw this weeks Mojo Monday sketch, I was immediately inspired and ran upstairs to create my card!
A couple of the design elements are askew compared to the sketch, but that's okay! Sketches are kinda like rules, they're meant to be broken, lmbo!! I'm such a rebel!
I got some new paper in the mail today *love happy mail days!* I got Green at Heart by Basic Grey, don't you love it??? I do! I paired it with an orange color by Prism and Ripe Avacado by PTI! The beautimous stamps I used are by Verve! The set is called "Let it Shine" and is one of my favorites from the latest release! This week's Mojo Monday sketch challenge is a CONTEST where you could WIN BIG! So go play along:)
Okay, I think I'm done blabbing for the night! Maybe I blab too much? I've had a rash of people unsubscribing due to "Too many updates" EEEK! My bad, apparently I talk too much, but it ain't fixin' to change, lol!

Some of the other Monday Chicks are going to play today so hop on over and show them some love!
Just thought I'd pop on and wish everyone a very Happy Easter! It's wonderful to have a day of reflection to remember just what Easter is all about. To me, it isn't about bunnies, or egg hunts, or anything material like that. It's the day my Savior rose from the dead, three days after he was crucified, so that I could live. God bless you all, have a very Happy EASTER!!!
Jen has a SUPER fun sketch for you this week! I obviously took some liberties with this sketch and moved and resized elements, but I'd say it's still a close match;)
I got this ADORABLE The Greeting Farm stamp from my friend Jessica when I met up with her a couple months ago! She gave me this one and one other one and I am HOOKED! I'm currently waiting on a fat order from All That Scraps and bought a bunch more of these cuties;) The paper is from DCWV "Doodling Around" stack and the ribbon and buttons are from PTI!
Check out what the rest of the sistah's have for you today using this sketch!
We're welcoming another new PERMANENT member of the sistahs'! Welcome toSonja!! She is wonderful, check out her blog!
Also, a huge welcome to the April Guest, Makeesha Byl:)

If you don't have Verve, no worries! We want to see what you got! Play with whatever stamps your heart desires, we are equal opportunity stampers, lol!
Along with the sketch, we also have some inspiration pictures for you! All you have to do is pick one, be inspired by it (in ANY way you see! Color, Texture, Style, whatever!), and come up with a gorgeous work of art:)
I used the new Plain Jane "Nehemiah 8:10" and "Feel the Sun" for my card! The colors I chose are based on the "Purple Room" on the Challenge Thread over on the Verve Forums! Go check it out:) I can't wait to see what you come up with:)
Card Recipe:
Stamps: Feel the Sun, Nehemiah 8:10 PJ (Verve)
Paper: Rustic White, Spring Moss (PTI), Rich Razzleberry (SU!)
Ink: Tuxedo Black (Momento), Watercolor Pencils, Copics
And in a BIG way! You know when Unity does something, it's done with 100% gusto and 500% heart! How can you go wrong? You can't. And I'm sure you'll agree as you hop through the blogs and enjoy the NEW RELEASES! Have you SEEN them yet? To DIE for, right? I'm totally loving them:)
If you're just stumbling upon my blog by sheer accident (thank you!) hop on over to Angela's blog to start from the beginning and get the scoop on today's happenings!
Here is a fun card I created with the new kit called "Singing Souls" by Lisa Hetrick (wonder woman, that's who she is!)
I really love the sentiments that come in this kit, there are FOUR of them! And that microphone? How cute is that!? I created this one, for DH, but c'mon, it's too girly! What is wrong with me??? Why can't I make a man card? LOL! I get all carried away with my girly feelings and start adding frillies and buttons, and lace, no man wants all that, on a card anyways, lolol!
Here's another one I created with the amazing new kit "Soiree's and Such"
Another completely girly card, but this one CAN be girly cause it's for a "soiree"! I've never had a "soiree" but it sounds girly, lol! I used more of my beloved Prima pearl flourishes on this card, another mini rose (ADORE these!), some crepe ribbon, some new nesties, all sorts of goodness! The panel that "soiree" is stamped on is a stamp from the same kit! I just hand-cut it out, it's really pretty easy to do on this one!
So what do you think of the new kits? Are you excited to get your inky lil hands all over them? Well you better HURRY! These kits (along with Inside & Out for which I have no sample yet) will ONLY be available on the Unity website from 1-31 April! After that, they'll be available only to wholesale stores, so you'll have to buy them at a brick and mortar or other online store! AND they're on sale TODAY ONLY! Get them discounted when you purchase them today, but tomorrow through the rest of the month they'll be back to regular price!
Remember to head on over to the Unity forums on Splitcoast and join in on the party thread! Who knows WHAT is happening over there;)
Your next stop is the phenomalicious JESSICA!I adore this girl, she Oooozes crafty inspiration and is just the sweetest person you will ever meet! Miss her!
