Hey folks! Just wanted to post quickly and let you know I'm still alive and well! Christy and I made it in to Seattle yesterday at about 10:00 am! We of course had to hit Target and Michaels RIGHT AWAY! LOL! We rented a little car and have been zoomin all over! We went to Barnes and Nobles, Target (yes, again!, bwhaha!) and Panera for dinner tonite, yummy! I go in for my surgery tomorrow at 7:00 am, so I expect to not be around much for the next couple days, just wanted to let ya'll know how I'm doing:) OH, so yesterday we were SOOO tired (we had been up for about 30 hours) and went to sleep at about 7:00, we woke up this morning at about 10:30, lol! Yep, 15 hours of sleep baby! And I probably coulda slept longer but I made myself get up, heehee:) We were dog tired man, I was walking around Target and would get dizzy and feel like i was gonna fall over! Anyways, I'm much better today, totally rested, and now not tired in the least!
Have a great night and I'll check in whenever I can:)

Think Pink
Hey folks! I have a quick card to share with you today! Verve is having a "Think Pink" sale in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month from today through October 31st! All Verve stamps are 10% off! And another awesome part of the deal is that the 10% is being donated by the wonderful Julee Tilman to the Susan G Komen For the Cure foundation! Isn't that fabulous of her?
I made this card using Julee's Mojo Monday #57 sketch for this week!
I used the sentement from Beautiful You and butteflies from Fluttering By! Now is the PERFECT time to load your cart full of Verve, take advantage of that awesome sale:)
I'll be leaving on Tuesday for Seattle for surgery and won't be back home for about 5 weeks, but I'm going to try to get some posts scheduled so I'll have SOMETHING to offer blogland:) I'll keep everyone posted on how I'm doing, I'm sure I'll have internet access after awhile!
Have a great weekend:)

hip HOP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
How's it goin HIp HoPpeR's??? We're already on Week 10! Phew, time really does fly when you're having fun!
I have a couple fun cards to share with you today! You probably know that I like, bright, fun, cheerful, cutsie, whimsical cards, so today I thought I'd go outside my comfort zone and try "Elegance" on for size:) This paper by Tinkering Ink made it SO easy and FUN! Just LOVE IT!
Do you see NEW STAMPS on these cards? OH YEAH! I'm SO loving the new Christmas singles that Angela is releasing, you will too! My first card:
The base is Bravo Burgandy and then I added a piece of the Yuletide dp by Tinkering Ink! That paper is SO gorgeous it hardly needed much embellishing, just a fabulous Unity stamp and it's good to go! That NEW release stamp is called "Jesus is the Reason", isn't it fun!? I love it! I just added a strip of Always Artichoke, some gorgeous ribbon by May Arts, and some Dew Drops and that card is DONE!
My next card is MY FAVE in a really long time!
That AWESOME card is called "Christmas List" and is just beautiful. The details are amazing! I embossed it in silver for this card and love how it looks all shiny:) The paper is from Yuletide by Tinkering Ink again, I'm REALLY loving this paper! Seriously! This piece is a soft sky color with vanilla snow flakes, YUMMMY! I used this weeks SCS card sketch for this card:) The ribbon is Basic Gray taffetta (SU!) and some light blue organdy polka dots by May Arts. Here's a close up shot of the embossed stamp:
This next detail shot is of the chipboard flourish! I painted it a soft sky blue and then right away I poured Dazzling Diamonds on it. The wet paint acted as a glue and that glitter just SPARKLES!
Your next stop on the wild HIP HOP train is JIMMI! I can't wait to see what she cooked up today!
If your visiting my blog and want to get in on the Hip Hop action (and your chance to win some Blog Candy!) start at the Unity blog and work your way through the DT blogs to see LOADS of new releases and projects! The Unity blog is also where you'll find today's specials:)

Christmas is in the air...
And I'm LOVIN' it! I'm excited for Christmas, yeah, but more so for my hubby getting home 2 weeks later:) Ahhh...I can't wait! He already reserved the honeymoon cabin at the beach "resort" called Okuma for the week after he gets home, YIPPEEE!! Can you say private cottage, private beach (well, sorta...), fire pit, our own lil golf cart to drive around, I CAN'T WAIT!:)
Oh, but back to the reason for this post, lol! It's JACKSONBELLE TUESDAY! And the reason I brought Christmas up (and got sidetracked, lol!) is because our "challenge" was to use Christmas products on our cards today! Well, Lindsey, being the AWESOME lady she is, sent us some SCRUM-DIDDLY-UMCIOUS Imaginisce Christmas paper! OMG it's BEEEEUTIFUL! Love the colors!
I'm not happy with the lighting for my card, so sorry! Alas, I can't stamp until the evenings after work and it's already dark by the time I can take my picture! Mebbe this is a good excuse to invest in a light box?:D AS IF I really needed a "good" excuse, bwahaha!
That dp is by Imaginisce, the penguin stamp is by Inkadinkado, the Flower is by Prima (I brushed Angel Wings Shimmerz over the flower for the shimmer!), the brad in the center of the flower is by Basic Grey, and the sentiment stamp is by PTI from "Take a Bough"! The organdy ribbon is CTMH.
Don't you love the soft colors? I gotta get me some more of that paper! This card is also my card for this weeks CPS sketch #87! FUN one {they all are!}
Check out the rest of the amazing team for some more fun Christmas projects!
Hop on over to the JBelle store and see all the FAB goodies she's got! Lots of fun Christmas stuff coming in!

Monday, back so soon!
I don't know about you, but my weekend went by WAY TOO FAST! Amazing how that happens! I only wish the rest of the week would go by so fast, lol! THere is ONE {or two} good things about Mondays...challenge time with the girls! YEAH! This week we decided to use Jessica Rose stamps! She created a bunch of SUPER AWESOME stamps for Unity and they're all SO fun and unique! I chose to work with the little trailer and sentiment from the August KOM: Remember Happiness! Lucky for you, Angela started releasing past KOM's for sale! Before, if you didn't get it that month, you were HOSED but Angela is so sweet and wonderful and listens to her customers saying "I WANT TO BUY PAST KOM'S!" What a sweet gal:D Okay, so here's my Jessica Rose card:
Isn't that paper PERFECT for this card? I bought it this weekend at the Arts and Crafts store on base! They NEVER have cute paper, so when I saw this, and realized how PERFECT it would be with this stamp, I had to get it:) It's by Around the Block {I think!} The stamps are in the August KOM! Fun stuff:)
This is the card sketch:

I've been dabbling in PS the past couple weeks, drawing up card sketches (it's SO FUN! I am totally addicted, lol!) This week is the first week I'm posting a card sketch challenge in the Unity forums! I'll pick a random winner {using Unity stamps} to win a little surprise from me! All you have to do to enter the contest is upload your card to SCS (or your blog, make sure to link back here or to the Sketch Challenge thread in the Unity Forum) by noon on Sunday, the 26th, and use the keyword "USCSC1" EASY PEASY! I don't know if you've noticed, but I LOVE details on my cards! Tons of details! My card sketches really showcase that, lol! If the sketch looks too involved or complicated, PLEASE alter it to make it easy for you! Sketches are all about inspiration and creativity so just let the sketch take on a mind of its own and have FUN!:)
This is the card sketch:
Please note, the big floral image is OPTIONAL but SO FUN to add! Think outside the box, it doesn't have to be a flower, check out my sample to see what I mean!
I used the big, beautiful butterfly from Butterfly Beauty! I stamped it in Versamark on Spring Moss {PTI} and then clear embossed it and cut it out! Gives the card TONS of dimension! The sentiment is from the fabulous sentiment set cdesigned by AJ Otto! It's called "Simply Said". LOVE this set and all the fab sentiments in it:) The dp is by SU! and it's from the pack called Muirfield! Love the blues and greens together:) The ribbon is also PTI and I added some glittery brads by Imaginisce to the top corner! I sure hope you play along with our sketch challenge!!!!!

HIp hOp--WeEk nINe!!!!!!!
WHOA! Nine weeks of Hip HOp! Can you believe it? It's been such a fun adventure, having you come visit our blogs and check out NEW UNITY! Today I have a few projects to share with you, I even SCRAPPED!!! Holy crud, I know! The stamping scrapbooker SCRAPPED! Bwahaha! I am really trying to get back into it, I really love to scrapbook! This page was actually done for an 8x8 page swap I'm in at Cropper's Cottage! I've known this group of women for a while now and 19 of us decided to create a circle of friends album, a page of each of us! Now, this was no easy feat because I procrastinated as long as I could and then forgot about the swap and had to crank 19 of these babies out a week after they were due! I'm horrible, I know! I'm just lucky they're keepin me around;)
Next card, it's Baby Jesus! This is one of the new singles being released today! It goes SO perfectly with many verses and Christian stamps released sprinkled through-out many KOM's and kits! The sentiment stamp used in this card is from the September KOM, which is now available as a collectors set!! That's right! Angela is releasing prior KOM's for sale for $45! Make sure you jump on the KOM wagon now and start getting your KOM's for $24 so you won't have to pay the $45 to get past Kits! The KOM club is a really awesome deal, you won't find a better one anywhere!;)
So I hope you're having fun HIP HOPPIN'!!! Your next stop is none other but the fab Anne-Marie! This girl ROCKS and it's so fun to have her on the team this month!
Don't forget to check out the Unity Blog for today's AWESOME 25% OFF SPECIAL!!!!!!!!!!
And then stop on over to the Unity Forums for an alllllll day long party with $300 worth of stamps flyin off the shelves as prizes!
Have a fantastic HiP HOp!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I used my Distressed Dots background stamp on the Kraft base and then used the hand, large parentheses, and dotted journaling lines stamp from Amazing Me! This kit is PERFECT for pages like this! I couldn't have prayed for a better kit to have in my stash;) The numbers are from the same kit!
The second close-up shot is a good detail picture of what the distressed dots background looks like, so fun!

Isn't that stamp adorable? I can't get over it! I used Soft Sky patterned paper under the image, gotta love the dots! The sentiment, as I said, is from the September KOM.
Last card for today is using the October KOM! This should come as no surprise, but this kit is AWE-SOME! So many fun little stamps to mix and match with other kits or use all together like I did on this card!
The color is off because I had to take the picture tonite and it's already dark and lighting SUCKETH in my house at night! Whoever painted these walls surely wasn't thinking about the light I'd require for taking pics of my cards! YEESH!

Four layers or LESS???
Do ya'll know that this is a tough feat for me? I never realized it until trying! Today's Jacksonbelle Embellishments Challenge is to create a card with 4 or less layers. That includes sentiment layers! It's tough, believe me!
My card base is a piece of Vintage Cream by PTI. I layered a piece of October Afternoon dp on and sponged some More Mustard ink on the base and the dp. I cut a strip of Cream cardstock and stamped my sentiment from "Harvest" (which is on sale!) in More Mustard. Next I added some brads from Basic Gray. Added some More Mustard ribbon to the top and bottom of the sentiment and then stuck the big Prima on and layered a Basic Gray button on top of that! Easy peasy card and I love it!
Check out what the rest of the girls did!
Beth Thomas
Dee Jackson
Kisa Peters
Lila Holgate
Lindsey Botkin
Lynda Benden
Maren Benedict
Rachel Baird
Broni Holcombe
Okay, gotta cut it short, it's 7:14 pm and I have to go do some water-sampling, sounds fun, right? Ahhh...an Air Force girls' job is never done;)
Have a great Tuesday!

Eastern Blooms and Diapers!
Hows that for a title? I'll get to the diapers in a minute;)
Today, the girls and I decided to work with this sketch for today's Monday challenge! This sketch was so fun to work with:
That beautiful card in the picture was made by Jen Del Muro! Yep, she's famous:)
Okay, here's my card for the sketch {I heart this card!}
Fun, huh? I love these colors! And I gotta tell you, I wasn't feelin' this card when I started! I don't know about you, but when I hate a card I'm working on, I keep on working on it until I love it! And I inevitably do! Case in point! I couldn't figure out what to do with the three circles so I started playing around and finally came up with the idea to use the blooms from Easter Blooms as my focal points and then the sentiment from Best Yet. The base is Baja Breeze and I stamped my Bella Toile bg in craft white. I'm channeling my friend Christy here, cause I saw her do this on a card and LOVED the look! I added glue dots to the centers of the flowers and sprinkled some Dazzling Diamonds on, really pretty IRL! I also added some Baja ribbon cause it just ain't a card if it don't have RIBBON!;)
Go check out what AJ, Maren, and Jennifer did with the sketch!
Okay, for the diaper part! A friend at work is having a little boy in a couple weeks, so we're having a baby shower for her at work this friday! So a couple friends and I decided to make a diaper cake for her shower. I have never made one before, so I just bought a ton of diapers and bunches of baby toys and other stuff and this diaper cake was born:

Isn't it cute? I am so proud of it! I know, isn't pride a deadly sin? Then I'm not proud, I just really love it:) Now I know why they cost so much to have someone else make it for you! This sucker cost about 90 bucks to make! Ahhhwell, it was worth it;)
Alright, I'm out! Time for some a hot shower, hot tea, and Edward;)
Have agreat Columbus day!

Okay, a couple of my cards! This first one is for yesterday's sketch challenge at SCS!
The paper is from Maine Blueberry by SU! I got that ribbon from the 100 Yen store, isn't it pretty? The sentiment stamp is from Simply Said and the small butterfly is from the October KOM! The bigger butterfly is from August KOM. I cannot for the life of me remember what set that frame is from and it's KILLING me! I've searched the store a million times and I can't find it! When I do, I'll be sure to update here though, lol!
Okay, next card!
I made this one for Beate's Inspiration challenge this week! I loved the circles on the pillows so I made some of my own! I embossed the circle stamps from Circle of Thanks in white ep and then punched Riding Hood Red, WHite, and Blue circles to add inside! The main image is from Floral Fantastical, as is the sentiment! Also, that delish ribbon is Riding Hood Red by SU:)
Well folks, that about does it for me here and I now have the great pleasure to send you on over to the super sweet, ultra talented LINSEY! Enjoy the rest of your Hip Hop day!!! Be sure to check in with Angela for today's super awesome specials!!!!!!!!!!!

Jacksonbelle Tuesday: CASE'ing Broni!
Morning peeps! How's everyones week going? Well it's almost hump day for me so I'm happy! This week is FLYING by! I've been so busy at work and got school and stamping after work that I just blink and the day is gone, I love that! Now if only the next 3'ish months go this fast, I'll be set:)
For today's Jacksonbelle Challenge we are CASE'ing the talented Broni Holcombe! Her gallery is beyond amazing and it was so fun picking a card to case! I chose THIS one, I love all the little added details!
Here's my card:
Here's my card:
Is that little owl not the cutest thing EVAH? He's from Night Owl by October Afternoon! Just love the owls in this set, they all have those big wide eyes that make you just wanna give em a hug! Heehe:) I'm sending this to DH even though it has buttons and a flower on it {he'll probably hide it from the boys, but I know he'll love it, lol!}
I used paper from Hawaiian Papaya, Chocolate Chip, Tangerine Tango, and Kiwi Kiss cardstock! I wanted to make this card work for the Color Challenge over at Splitcoast! The buttons are all by Basic Grey. The green flower is by Prima, and I also painted some Pumpkin Shimmerz on Olly's belly:)
If you'd like to play with us, use the key word JBE023 when you upload to Splitcoast! Check out what the rest of the talented designers came up with!
Check out the JBelle Blog for some HUUUGE Blog Candy! You don't want to miss it! All you have to do is comment on THIS post for your shot at this huge wad of fabulousness!
I made this card last night right before I went to bed. I had seen this weeks CPS Sketch and have been thinking about it all day. Well after I got done brushing my teeth and getting ready to climb in bed, this idea flew into my brain and I had to get it out before I forgot it! I have seen many cards using this set by SU! and these colors and just HAD to do it:)
The colors are from last weeks color challenge, Baja Breeze, Really Rust, and Chocolate Chip! Yep, I'm loooving these colors! The stamp set is called Season of Friendship by SU! and the paper is from Autumn Vines (in the SU! Holiday Mini)
I love it when these ideas that pop into your head work out so nicely:) I love this card!

Inchie Love
Today, the Monday challenge girls decided to make some inchies! I have no kind of talent to make a little one inch square look creative so I had to make one and attach it right to a card, lol!
The stamp is from the new SU! set called "four square". I stamped it in Pallete Haystack and then cut it out and mounted a small butterfly punch on top of it. I mounted this on a piece of Aqua Mist that I punched out with my SU! scallop square punch! There's my inchie, lol! Told you it's not so creative, heehe:) I used an Aqua Mist base, some Kraft cardstock, and the dp is from the Blue Hill collection by Crate Paper! I also added some Aqua Mist ribbon and some rhinestones on the corners.
Check out what AJ, Maren, and Jennifer made, I bet they have something more impressive to show you, haha!
So I can hardly keep my eyes open (and it's only 8:00!) so I'm gonna go chillaax for a while and possibly go to bed early, I have a bag drag at 6:00 tomorrow morning (the military folks will know what that is, lol!)
Have a fantastic Monday, peeps! Thanks for stopping by:)

Wanna know what you can win right here? Just by leaving me a comment?
Ladies and Gentleman, introducing... Mr. FLUFFY the Owl!
Isn't he CA-UTE????? I love him! If you want to win this super cute lil owl, just leave a comment for me on this blog post by midnight tonite! I'll pick a winner Sunday Morning and announce her right here!
Here's a sample I made with Mr. Fluffy today, using Beate's Weekend Sketch Challenge and the Inspiration Challenge on SCS today!
You can't really see it, but I stamped by Distressed Dots background stamp in versamark on the black background and embossed it with clear ep! Isn't Fluffy adorable? I love him:)
Mr. Fluffy is from the kit called "Keeper of my Heart" and this WHOLE kit is really fun! As you can see from my Mr. Fluffy image above, I compared the size to a penny. These images are not small, there big and beautiful and PERFECT for the main images on your cards! Here is another card I made with Tweety Dove from the kit! The sketch is from the Wednesday Unity Challenge!
I stamped the bird on a piece of So Saffron dp and cut it out so the pattern could be repeated, love how it turned out:) That sentiment is from AJ Otto's new kit called "Simply Said" and it has THE best sentiments in it! It's a brand new release, check it out!
Okay, next card is seriously bright, pull out your sunglasses (and blame AJ, Maren, and Jennifer B for these colors...)
I don't really remember what got us started on horrible color combos, but we were talking about what our Monday challenge was going to be this week and one of the girls mentioned Yo Yo Yellow. Then we started getting hot heads and talking about adding Orchid Opulance and Green Galore (I take no blame for this people, it HAD to be one of them!) and the challenge was born, even though we didn't really realize it! Obviously it's not our Monday challenge, but Maren, superstar that she is, said she was going to do this color combo cause she's the illest, so I said..."Oh yeah? Well so am I!" Cause I wanna be Maren when I grow up. So here is the bright, not as disgusting as I thought it was going to be card, lol! The stamps are all from Flirty Flowers! I actually had fun making this card, it really was a true challenge cause I LOATHE these colors, bwhahahah!
Last card for today (I know, do I have a life outside my stampin' room? Yes, I do, it's just not as fun, heehee) is for Lauren Meader's Saturday Sketch Challenge!
Mmmm...doesn't it make your mouth drool for ice cream? My mouth is watering! LOL! I used the "Delectable Delights" kit for this card, it's PERFECT for the sketch! I colored the images in with my Copics and added some white high-lights with my gel pen (I'm just learning to do this, so it might not be perfect, lol!) I got the color combo from that ribbon! I have had it laying around for ever and wanted to use it! This is not a new color combo for me though, as I'm sure you know. Pink Pirouette and Riding Hood Red have been fave's of mine for awhile! I got a couple people asking me how do I attach my dew drops. I just use a drop of my Mono Multi and those babies stick forevah! I hope it'll work for you! If you don't have Mono Multi, try Cryal Effects or some other type of liquid glue. I also use the Mini Glue Dots by SU! They all work!
Unity Stamp Co. is also hosting a Cards for the Troops drive! If you'd like to be a part of this, please see THIS thread for the details. Basically, you send in gobs of cards (they can be new ones or you can even clean out your stash!) and send them to Unity for distrobution to the troops! There is a HUGE prize for the person who sends in the most cards (they MUST have envelopes to qualify), a one time 50% off shopping spree! It includes everything in the Unity store with the exception of the handles! This drive is for a really good cause, one close to my heart as my dear sweet hubby is over there right now too! He's been gone for 3 months and has 3 months to go! I know how much these guys appreciate getting mail and what better way to support them than to send them cards for them to send home to their loved ones! Remember, these cards are not addressed to the troops, they are for the troops to send home so please don't write in them! Thanks sOOO much for any cards you can send in:)
Okay, that's all I have for today but I'm sure I'll be back tomorrow with my WCMD challenge cards from SCS! Don't forget to leave a comment (by midnite tonite!) to win Mr. Fluffy, he wants to move in with you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hip Hop!!!!!!
What's up peeps! I'm excited for a HIP HOPPin' Blog HOP! Of course, it's Thursday night for me, so I can't blurf till Friday, but it's cool, I'm used to it;)
First things first, I wanna shout out to Anne-Marie (muffyvan on SCS), Unity's October Guest Designer! Her work is FABULOUS and you really need to check out her blog! Looking forward to working with you this month Anne-Marie!
If this is your first Blog Hop or if you're just stoppin by my blog, head on over to the Unity Blog for the beginning of the Blog Hop! Work your way through the entire DT blogs and you'll find some BLOG CANDY!
I have three cards to share today! Two of them use the September KOM which is no longer available (sorry folks!) and then a third using the October KOM! The October kit is SOOO fun! Anyways, here are my cards:
This is one of the September KOM cards. The card base is Pink Pirouette and the darker pink is by Prism. I colored the trees in with Copics! The dp is by Sassafrass and the ribbon is by PTI.
My second card:
I LOVE this card! I made that big butterfly a few WEEKS ago and just havent' figured out what to do with it! Well, when I saw the color challenge at Splitcoast this week, I got an idea! I had already stamped my Tea Time Toile in Baja Breeze on this piece of Baja Breeze cs and then traced a chipboard butterfly over it and cut it out. But I wanted to add some shimmer, so using my SAJ I stamped the background stamp again, applied some Heat and Stick powder and then poured Dazzling Diamonds on it! It's really sparkly and girly, and I LOVE IT:) The sentiment is from the September KOM. I also stamped the Tea Time Toile background stamp on the Baja background.
Okay, my third and final card! I used the stamps from the new October KOM!

I got the color combo for this card from Kristina's Color Challenge! The colors are Kiwi Kiss, Pumpkin Pie, Choc Chip, and Vanilla! I LOVE fall colors, so this was right up my alley!
I stamped my Harlequin background in KK on the KK base. After adding all the squares of color I pierced a buncha holes, I love that look:)
I colored in the cutie pie owls with Copics and went over their bellies with Gold Ice Stickles. For a little finishing, I tied some Old Olive and Pumpkin Pie ribbon around the card and added the Pumpkin photo corner (blinged out, of course!)
Make sure you check out the Unity Blog for a ton of sweet specials, only available today!!!
Your next stop is the amazing Christi Snow! She is so talented and I just love her style! She's one of my first cyber-scrappin buddies from a couple years ago and I'm so glad we still "hang out" LOL! Enjoy the rest of your blog hop peeps, see you on the FORUMS for the pARtAy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
