Welcome to the Stamping Bella Chichi hop! We're all here to celebrate the fun little Chichiboulie stamps and hop around to see what other sistah's have been creating! If you didn't start from the beginning, start at Emily's blog and hop through the complete line up!
I have always loved Maisy Sunshine the most out of my chichi's, I know, how can I have a favorite! She's just so cute!
I colored Maisy and the flower with Prismacolor pencils and gamsol. I *attempted* Paulabella's grass tutorial, EPIC FAIL, lol! It's nowhere near as good as hers, I'll have to keep practicing! I also love how the Bella Babe's shade around their images, again, FAIL but I'll keep working at it:)
The card base is Dark Chocolate and the paper is from the Autumn Abundance pack, all by PTI. The sentiment stamps are Verve, from Worlds Greatest.
Well, in addition to some fun eye candy along the way, there is some BLOG CANDY hidden! Even we the bloggers don't know who has it so make sure you comment on all the lovely blogs:) The winner will get $25 gift code for the Stamping Bella store! The winner will be announced in the Bella forums on Splitcoast!
Hope you like what you're seeing so far, head on over to SARA'S BLOG to continue the hop!
Enjoy your weekend!

Love Owlyways!
Today the DT is showcasing more projects using the October KOM (Only available for a couple more days, don't wait too long to get yours!;)
I couldn't let the opportunity pass without giving this cute owl another try:) Last time I used him I wasn't too happy, he was possessed. So this time I tried a more mellow color combo for my owl!
I used this weeks color combo on SCS (Melon Mambo, Kraft, and Black) for my inspiration. I stamped the Grainy background in Raspberry Fizz on the Melon Mambo cardstock. I like the tone on tone look it created! The kraft cardstock and black bitty box paper is from PTI, as is the ribbon and button! Don't you love this sentiment? It's so cute:)
Well like I mentioned earlier, Angela is releasing FIVE NEW KITS for a short time only! You can get them starting TODAY through Sunday and then they are GONE until after CHA in January 2010! If you spend over $25 dollars you can get one of these new kits for around $3! WHO DOES THAT??? Angela knows how to cut a deal doesn't she?:) Head on over to her BLOG for more details!
Have a fantastic day!

Not only do you get the amazing "Wherever you Go" kit (which in and of itself is an amazing deal!) but you also get "Crazy for Daisies" for FREE! This kit is only availabe through Friday so make sure to get it while you can!
For my card, I created a patterned paper from two of the flowers in the set:
I stamped the flowers in Orange Zest and Aqua Mist on white cardstock. I matted this piece with Aqua Mist and then mounthed it on a piece of Sweet Blush. The sentiment was stamped in Orange Zest and I cut it out with a nestibility die. I tied some Aqua Mist ribbon and added a button with thread. Some butterflies finish it off!
Make sure to start on Angela's blog and she'll show you where you need to go for some more eye candy:)
Also, stay tuned to her blog for details on a ScARy sale this Halloween weekend! You won't want to miss it, she's got 5 new kits she's releasing THIS WEEKEND ONLY and they are REALLLLLY CUTE!

It's beginning to look alot like...
Christmas! Everywhere you go...except Okinawa!
It's still hot and muggy here. Man I could seriously use some awesome fall weather with bright yellow and red trees, *sigh*...I'll have to rely on fall and Christmas cards to put me into the spirit:)
Today the Monday Chicks are creating Christmas cards! I gotta tell you, I already have quite an insane collection of Christmas cards to send out this year! I've decided that instead of stressing over making a bunch of cards to send out, I'm going to actually send out the cards I create for the blog! Genious idea to actually send them to someone, huh?:D So they'll all be different, but I think that'll be just fine.
My card for today, using the fab Holly Jolly by Verve!
I can't help but embellish these little cuties with silver cord, they just make me so darn happy:) The colors I used are Riding Hood Red and Elegant Eggplant. I masked the large ornament and the stamped the smaller ones, one behind the large and one popped up in front. I also stamped the polka dots from Bountiful Backgrounds and started to color them all with my red Spica pen, well I quit and didn't realize how obviously it would show up in the picture! That's just how it goes, when you want sparkle to show up on a picture it doesn't, and when you don't want it to, it does! Ah well, such is life:)

I have one more card that fits the theme today, using Blessed Christmas and Jen's Sketch for you to try!
That cardstock is NOT yellow, it's gold (PTI). It doesn't really photograph well (see earlier comment...mmmmmhmmmm.) but the paper is really shimmery! I embossed the cross and sentiment in gold, it's such a pretty card IRL but the photo just makes it blah!
Head on over and see what the other girls have come up with today, you could always use another Christmas card idea, right?:)
Have a great day, I'm gonna have a nice cup of Chamomille tea and get ready for bed!

Believe Blog Hop!
If you didn't notice, I'm late on the blog hop train, I'm SO SORRY to the rest of the divas for breaking the chain, I don't know why but I had it in my head that this hop was NEXT saturday! I'm such a dope:)
Anyways, welcome to the Verve Believe Blog Hop! Today we’re hopping for the Cure, sharing projects from a new set Verve released last night called Believe. This set was designed in honor of breast cancer awareness and Verve is donating $10 from the sale of every Believe set to the Susan G Komen For the Cure foundation. We believe that we can make a difference. We believe that each day should be celebrated, each moment cherished and that every little thing we can do in the fight to find a cure matters.
For my project, I wanted to go with a sunny, uplifting card! The flowers in this set are really fun to color and I love the flourishy stems:) This set has a number of wonderful, uplifting sentiments that you'll be able to use for many different occassions. My card base is Orange zest. I stamped the smaller flower and stems directly on the card and then stamped, colored, and cut out the larger flower to pop it up off the card, I added an orange zest button and some jute too for some extra fun:) The green grass is torn Coredinations paper.
Thanks for hopping by! Next up on the hop is Sankari! Oh, and we’ve got a special gift hidden along our hop for one lucky commenter, so if you see something you really love, give a little shout out and you just might win a $30 gift certificate to Verve! We'll be picking a random winner on Tuesday morning. And just in case Blogger decides not to play nice and post the pre-scheduled posts the girls have prepared, here's the master list so you can keep on hopping.

Verve Holiday Release
Did you hear that Verve Stamps just had a huge Holiday stamp release? There are so many great new sets, you'll want them all! Go >>>HERE<<< to see the new goodies!
I have a few cards to share with you today and more tomorrow, all with the new releases. I had so much fun and couldn't stop stamping:)
First up is my card for the Frosty Flakes sneak peek...
The first thing I thought when I saw this set was that I wanted to make a rustic Christmas card with it! The snowflakes are so amazing and unique. I stamped them in Fresh Snow (PTI) and Rich Cocoa (Momento) on Kraft cardstock. I found the layout to this card on Dawn McVey's blog. I really wanted a layout that would show off as much of the stamped background as possible:)
Adding some chocolate gingham *I am so loving this ribbon!* and a button/jute ribbon really polished it off:)
My next card is using the gorgeous set called "O Christmas Tree". The tree in this set is *SO* awesome, as long as you stamp it in some color of green on a white background, it looks like it already has snow on it!
I can't remember the name of this paper but it's by SU! I stamped the tree in Ripe Avacado on Rustic Cream cardstock and cut it out with my oval nestabilities. I added some faux stitching with an Old Olive marker.
My last card is using Holly Jolly Christmas and also uses this weeks Viva la Verve sketch! There is no twist this week so let your imaginations run wild!!!
I hope you enjoy this sketch:) I created it after my card, because I loved the ornaments in this layout! You don't have to use ornaments obviously, could have a flower and a stamped image, two stamped images, whatever you want!
My card base is white (PTI) and the dp is called Thoroughly Modern by SU! The Rich Razzleberry piece was cut with the top note die. I then stamped two of the ornaments in Bermuda Bay and Melon Mambo and cut them out with my 1.5" circle punch. I stamped the ornament tops in versamark and embossed them in silver on the RR piece, and then mounted the ornaments. I added some silver cording, some brads, and the sentiment (also embossed in silver). What do you think? I love this card! I should also mention that I covered both ornaments with a thin layer of Glossy Accents for a shiny effect.
Well I hope you enjoyed todays projects, I'll have more tomorrow!
I bought a Wii today, along with Mario Kart and a PGA Tour golf game for hubby, so we're having a fun night with the Wii! See ya tomorrow!

I'll "owlyways" love you!
Today I had a fun day with some friends (Christy, Jamie, Jenny, and Margaret)! We went to CocoK's to get our toes done, so much fun! They treat you so nice there, give you yummy tea, a sweet massage, and awesome designs on your toes:D Christy is the only one who got a picture so I'm pretty sure she'll post it on her blog in a day or so:)
We're getting ready for a long week at work, a week long exercise, blech. 12 hour days! I work days and hubby works nights, so we won't get to see each other until Friday, isn't that crazy? Anyways, just a quickie post tonite cause we're relaxing and I'm off to bed soon!
The card base is embossed Bazzill, I'm so in love with this color! The cute (albeit possessed looking) owl and sentiment are from Unity's October KOM. I couldn't figure out how to color his eyes so I thought "how about red since hearts are read!" Well now he just looks creepy, lol! Oh well, I'll figure it out out one of these days:)
Have a great day, see ya in a few!

Unity Thursday!
Every Thursday has been Unity Hip HOp day for over a year but we've recently stopped HIp Hop and we're refocusing! We have so much fun stuff to share so make sure you stop by Angela's blog for the events of the day! Today we're featuring the October Scrapbook Collage Kit! But you know how there's one in every group who gets it wrong? Well today it's me. I had my card all ready to go but it's with the October CUSTOMER KOM! DOH! Oh well, I'm going to share it anyway and hope I don't get fired;)
How much do you love this color combination? Rich Razzleberry and Spring Moss, LOVE IT! I stamped the flowers in Pitch Black (Adirondack) and then colored them with my prismacolor pencils and gamsol. I then used a sponge dauber and sponged Tea Leaves chalk ink allllll over that cardstock, love how it turned out! It was supposed to start out just a little sponged but I got carried away, lol! The lovely sentiment is also from the October KOM. I have to say, that the October KOM may be my most favorite of all time. There are so many great sentimets, quotes, images (even a sock monkey!) You simply must check it out HERE! If you sign up for the KOM this month you get Crazy for Daisies for FREE! WHO DOES THAT? Unity does, that's who;)
Have a great day, it's almost the weekend (a long one too!)

Angels Landing DT Challenge-Autumn Colors
Goood morning! This weeks DT Challenge for Angels Landing is to create a card using fall colors. Fall colors like orange, brown, red, vanilla, are some of my favorites! It reminds me that fall is in the air someplace, even if it's not in Okinawa's air, lol!
I decided to print off this sweet image from "Autumn Tweetings" because I thought it would go perfectly with today's color challenge! I colored the image in with Prismacolor pencils and gamsol. The card base is Rustic Cream (PTI, my favorite cardstock EVER!) I added some polka dots to the background (Verve-Bountiful Backgrounds) and the sentiment is from Garden Greetings by SU! (I think) Do you see the faux stitching? I did that useing the fun set called "Faux Stitched Borders" I just drew the connecting lines with my Chocolate Chip marker (SU!)
I bet you want to see more from the amazing Angels Landing DT don't ya?:) Head on over to the Angels Landing Blog for a master list of all the blogs to check out!
Thanks for stopping by, hope to see ya tomorrow!

10 Minute Monday!
Today, the Monday girls are takin it easy, no cards that take over 10 minutes! Well, I sorta cheated, the first one took me about 20. Dang it, but it's cute so I have to post it:)
I stamped the "Giving it all meaning" background right onto the Rustic Cream background. I layered some chocolate and Orange Zest cardstock and stamped the bee and sentiment from "Everyday Adorable". I thought the bee needed a flower so I stitched a stem, added the hand-cut leaf and then the pretty orange Prima!
See what the rest of the girls came up with in 10 minutes!
The card base is Bermuda Breeze and the dp is from SU as well, but I can't remember what it's called. I did some Cuttlebug Kissin' on the butterfly from "Bevy of Butterflies" and the sentiment is from the September KOM (No longer available, but you can check out the October KOM HERE!!)
Okay, this card took me about 15 and that's cause I had to switch the white thread out and put the brown into the machine...

WCMD! Not too shabby!
Doncha love it that there is a "holiday" all our own? I told my hubby that today is world card making day and that he had to make a card and well, it didn't go well! LOL! He just sighs and says "Honey, how about you make a card FOR me!" Okay, if you insist:D
I made this first card a couple days ago. I colored this sweet Ketto (Sake) in hopes of getting to use her for the Bellarific Sketch but it turned out that the challenge was a "Fall" card, no sketch at all so she doesn't really work for fall! Oh well, I went with it and made this card with this weeks 2S4U sketch!
My next card is for this weeks Viva la Verve sketch with a {twist} challenge! Here's the sketch:
The {twist} this week is to go shabby! I love the look and everyonce in a while I can pull it off, but more often I fall short, lol! My card that I made for this challenge turned out pretty cute I think. The card base is Rustic Cream by PTI (a GREAT shabby color!) and I can't remember who makes the dp, it was a scrap I had laying in a basket for like a year, lol! The stamp set is called "Cupcake Affair" by Verve Stamps! I wanted my card to have soft colors, sewing, sponged edges, and a fun shabby stamp set:) The ribbon was just a perfect addition, so glad I found this is my never-ending basket of balled up ribbon, lol! I colored the stamp with Copics and included the colors for your reference...
Well, hope your WCMD goes by beautifully:) I hope to get to all the fun challenges on Splitcoast tomorrow! See ya then:)
