Countdown to Confetti - Day 3

Hey there! Welcome to the last day of sneak peeks!

Today, the team is sharing sneaks of two new sets, Love Blooms (With coordinating Confetti Cuts) and Sugary Sweet Sentiments! Today, I have a project I made with the Love Blooms stamps and Love Blooms Confetti Cuts!

I created these fun mixed media tags! This was such a fun project, I just love color and had fun playing with colors on these tags!

I stamped 3 of the sentiments and cut them into strips to glue down on the tag. I cut the flowers with the Love Blooms Confetti Cuts out of watercolor paper and colored then with my Tombow watercolor markers. I stenciled the tag with random stencils and Dylusions spray inks by Dylusions. I created the tags with the largest tag from Tag Me. I did the partial die cut method to create these longer tags!

Countdown to Confetti-Day 2

Hi there! Welcome to day 2 of the Reverse Confetti January release!!

Today, we're sharing sneak peeks of a couple new sets: Right Here, Right Now and Here's the Story!
If you're a Project Lifer, you're going to LOOOVE these sets! If you're NOT a Project Lifer, you're going to LOOOVE these sets! I'm in the latter category and found ways to create cards using these new sets!

First up is Right Here, Right Now!

On the day I created this card, I really wanted to be messy and get ink and paint ALL over my hands, so I did.just.that. LOL! This is a big card for me, 5"x7" watercolor card. I sprayed various Dylusions ink sprays to create the background. "Today", the calendar, and "on this date" sentiments are all from Right Here, Right Now. The little location die is from the fabulous new Documented Confetti Cuts! The "just a note" and "to say" are from Lots to Say. I even hooked up the inside!

This is not a clean and neat card. This is a messy, artsy, bunch of FUN! I have so much fun when I let loose:) The Happy Birthday is from Lots to Say, the TO was spelled with the Light Hearted Letters, and the "You" is from Tag Me Too Confetti Cuts!

Next up is a card for the new Here's the Story stamps!

The card base is a piece of gray cardstock. I used one of the new Quick Card Panels also! To extend the colors of the QCP, I added some strips of glitter to the card base in corresponding colors. I simply put down some some double sided adheseive and sprinkled on matching colors of glitter. I stamped the "Hey Baby" from Here's the Story, and the "you" is a die from the Tag Me Too Confetti Cuts. The hearts are from Heart to Heart and matching dies!

Countdown to Confetti Day 1

Well the week you've been waiting for is finally here! It's Reverse Confetti Release Week!! You are going to *LOVE* the release this month. Six amazing stamp sets, a bunch of new dies, and a new product we're introducing, Quick Card Panels! Let's get started!

First up is the adorable Heart to Heart stamp set and coordinating Confetti Cuts!

I cut four small circles from the Circles 'n Scallops Confetti Cuts and then I cut the smallest heart from Heart to Heart Confetti Cuts out of the center of the circles. I layered different papers behind the negatives added Stickles to the hearts. I cut the largest of the plane circles from Circles 'n Scallops and then cut just a part of the largest heart from Heart to Heart Confetti Cuts out of that circle. I stamped the black heart directly on the white card base and then popped the cut out around the heart stamp.

Next up is a card using the new Quick Card Panels and Puppy Love!

The three strips of hearts in the background is actually one of the new Quick Card Panels! I cut it into strips so I could layer it on the card like this. These card panels are so super fun, just wait till you see the other designs!! They make putting a card together a SNAP!

I cut out the cute puppies and food dish with the Puppy Love Confetti Cuts and then stamped them. I colored them in with my Tombow watercolor markers. The sentiment was stamped on a vellum circle cut out with the largest die in the Circles 'n Scallops Confetti Cuts.

So that's all I've got to share today!! Make sure you pop on over to the Reverse Confetti Blog for more details and a list of all the blogs with new projects to share!

DLP 2015 Week 1 - Goals

Hi there! I'm here today with my pages for week 1 of this year's Documented Life Project! Art Journaling has become such a part of my art over the past year, and I'm really excited to start a few new challenges this year! I tried to get in to the DLP last year, but it was centered around a planner and I didn't like that aspect of the challenge. So this year, it's an art journal, and you can add planner pages if you want, but don't have to! I'm using the large Dylusions journal this year, as are most people in the challenge. This is such a great journal, I have two of the big ones and three of the small ones, love them:) This week, we're to use book pages to fill the blank page and the journal prompt is "Be Your Own Goal Keeper"

I gesso'd both pages first, then collaged some book paper and then painted and stenciled over the book paper. I did some hand written journaling, big and loopy and messy so you can't really read it, unless you really try haha! I wrote my goals on a card under the tag flap that says "goals". Those are more private so I have them hidden.

Here's a link to the Art 5 site, I think you need to register to be a member, but the website and challenge are all free! Let me know in the comments if you're also playing along this year! Thanks for stopping by!

Brewin' Up Birthday Wishes!

Happy New Year!!! I can't believe it's 2015! Last year (omg 2014 is last year) went so fast, it was a blur with a couple moves new jobs, new everything! I hope 2015 proves to be just as interesting, haha!!

I created a fun little card for a couple challenges today!

I cut out a piece of watercolor paper to 4 x 5.25 and sprayed some Lemon Zest Dylusions ink spray on the watercolor paper. I tipped it upside down and spritzed it with some water to create the drips and dried it with a heat gun.  Next I grabbed some green polka dot paper from my scrap stash and added some coral scallops cut out with the Double Edge Scallop border. I cut out a small tag with the smallest tag from Tag Me and stamped the sentiment. I stamped and then cut out a couple tea cups and did some paper piecing to create the pattern in the cups. I adhered the cups on the largest plain circle from Circles 'n Scallops and then tied the tag around the card front with twine.

I created this card with this week's Freshly Made Sketches challenge and the ColourQ challenge!

Thanks for stopping by today, hope you had a great New Year's Eve with your family and that your New Year is everything you dreamed and more!!
