SFYTT-You Make me Smile!

Hello! You ready for another FABULOUS sketch from Jen!? I really had so much fun with this week's sketch and I know you'll love it too!

I used a really fun CC Designs stamp called Cherry Emma! Isn't she so adorable? I colored her in with Copics in colors to match the paper from the Early Bird collection by Cosmo Cricket! LOVE these papers:)
You might also notice that Emma is sitting on a bench! This is Pink Bench by Magnolia! It's just PERFECT for sitting images! The sentiment is from Thankful Hearts by Verve Stamps. The Lemon Tart ribbon and Simply Chartreuse cardstock and button are from PTI. Also, since I love the Kaiser Craft pearls so much, I had to add a bunch, lol!

You'll want to head over to the rest of the team to see what fun they've come up with for this sketch!

Farm Fresh Friday-Sketch time!

Good morning! It's FRIDAY and that means time for another Farm Fresh Friday challenge on the TGF Blog! This week, Cindy the Great has come up with a super fun sketch!
Here's my card, using the sweet Pinto Pony digi stamp!

I colored this sweetie in with Copics!

If you look close, you can see the Chocolate Spica Glitter pen on her mane and tail, so fun!
This is the first time I colored her in "realistic" colors. I tend to like her in her Rainbow Brite colors, but she's a gorgeous Bay color too:)

The dp in the background is from Origins by basic Gray. I also used the Fancy Tags Shapeabilities from Spellbinders for the sentiment panel.

Check out the rest of the team for more sketchy inspiration!

Pink Polka Dots!

Have you heard the news? 7 Kids College Fund now has a Challenge Blog! We're going to be having challenges for you every other Wednesday, starting TODAY! HooRAY!
Not only do you get to play with a FUN challenge, but Tab (our wonderful and fearless leader!) is offering a HUGE prize this week! One lucky lady (or man!) will win a $50 gift certificate to spend in the store!

Your first mission, should you choose to accept it, is PINK and POLKA DOTS! C'mon ladies, I know you have lots of fun pink polka dot ribbons, papers, embellies, show it off!

I used the SUPER ADORABLE Birthday Hugs Popcorn Bear stamps by Crafter's Companion! These images are super huge and beautiful, so I kept the layout basically simple (not that I had a whole bunch of room anyways, lol!) The card is a 5x5 square of Sweet Blush cardstock. I used my Seeing Spots Cuttlebug folder on the lower half of the pink cardstock, but you can't really see it. I matted the stamped image on a piece of Scarlet Jewel cardstock and cut the bottom with my Traditional Eyelet Edge punch by Martha Stewart. I tied some Sweet Blush ribbon around the card front also, because a card is NOT complete until it has a bow:)
I added a fun rose bud from Zva Creative to the top left corner and sprinkled some pearls throughout!

Okay, your turn! Go on over to the 7 Kids Challenge Blog, check out the rest of the DT's beautiful creations, and add your own to the list!
I look forward to seeing your PINK and POLKA DOTTED creations!

Berry Sweet!

So MFT Stamps has this fun program, the "VIP", and I DO LOVE to be a VIP, lol! With this program, you get to order a little kit and in the kit comes a BRAND NEW, NEVER-BEFORE-SEEN stamp set! I ordered this month's VIP kit and just adore it!

This stamp set is called "Who's that Harvest Girl?" Isn't it AWESOME??? I believe this set along with a bunch of others are being released on 4 August! This set comes with a bunch of different images to stamp in the basket, not just strawberries! EVERYTHING on this card came in the kit except for the Dienamics Die and matching frame stamp and the silver pearls! The card base (scalloped, OH I LOVE IT!), ribbon, Olivia 6x6 paper pad, and stamp set all came in the kit! Super fun mail day!;)
I colored the image in with Copics to match the paper.

**Come back tomorrow for my card for the 1st 7 Kids Challenge from the all new 7 Kids Challenge Blog *link will not work until Wednesday!)! Think PINK and POLKA DOTS!**

It's an ANNI-VERVE-SARY Blog hop!!!!!!!

It's hard to believe that Verve is already 3 years old, she grew up so fast! *sniff!* Verve has been a huge part of my stamping life for the past 2 years and I can honestly say that I love it now more than ever before! Julee is just a phenomenal artist, business woman, and friend, and I'm SO happy for her and Mark that their sweet little company is doing SO WELL! I think we can all agree that EVERY release gets BETTER and BETTER! I just know that BIG THINGS are in store for Verve in the coming years, and I am so happy and proud to be right there watching it grow!

Today we're having a HUMONGOUS blog hop in honor of Verve's 3rd Birthday and I hope you'll join us! Don't be intimidated by the 80 something blogs in the hop, you will be so inspired all the way through. I know I can't wait to start hoppin'!
If you're arriving here from Becca's blog, you're on the right track! If not, be sure to start at Julee's blog and work your way through for LOTS of Verve-y inspiration! If you get lost along your way *there are more than 80 blogs! It may very well happen, lol!* find your next stop on the Master Blog Hop list HERE!!!!!!!

My card for today uses one of my favorite releases this year *so far* HEE!

I know what you're thinking, "that's not patriotic!" Why? Just because it's not red, white and blue? As a girl in the USAF, I know that I'd *adore* getting a GIRLY patriotic card;)
I cut the big tag out on my Cricut and sewed it onto the card base which is Berry Sorbet and patterned paper from the Basic Gray "Olivia" pack! I cannot put this paper down, it's GORGEOUS!

Okay, so there are TONS of beautiful cards to see so I'm not going to keep you here longer than ABSOLUTELY necessary;)

SFYTT-Sponsored by Totally Stampalicious!

Hello! Long time no blog! LOL! I think this is the quietest I've been in like...forever! I don't know why either, maybe it's cause my honey has been home for a couple days and I try to stay away from blogging while he's here, gotta take advantage of the time I have! He's only at the academy for 2 more weeks and then I'll have him back FULL TIME! YeAH!

Today's Sketch For You to Try is sponsored by a super fun stamp company called "Totally Stampalicious!" They are exactly what their name suggests, STAMPALICIOUS! You'll find the cutest images at the store so go check 'em out!

Here's this week's sketch:

Fun sketch! Here's my card using Sweet Birthday Kids from the Bugaboo Collection:

I stamped the sweet image in Tuxedo Black ink by Momento on Neenah Solar White cardstock (My FAVORITE Copic Combo!) and colored it in with Copics to match the Cupcake dp by Basic Gray!
I'm not sure if you can see it or not, but I used my Cuttlebug "Seeing Spots" folder on the background. I LOVE this folder, it's so FUN!
The ribbon is by SU! and the buttons are from PTI!

A HUGE thank you to Totally Stampalicious for letting us play with their super fun stamps! I love them and will be inking them up again a TON in the near future;)

Hop on over to the rest of my SFYTT Sistah's blogs for more TOTALLY STAMPALICIOUS creations!

Enjoy the Show

I colored this fun image, Cheeky Glamour, by TGF quite awhile ago and I'm finally giving her a place in the spotlight! Doesn't she deserve it? She is so fabulous!
She's very Marilyn Monroe and so fun to color! I colored her in with Copic markers, with no particular papers in mind to use with her, which made my job today a little bit harder, lol! I always just stamp an image out and color away and then think, "okay great, now what papers will match this?" DCWV to the rescue! I bought the Linen Closet paper pack earlier this year when I was shopping with Jessica! Just cracking into it too, how sad is that?
The image was stamped on Neenah paper in Tuxedo Black by Momento. This is the PERFECT Copic combination if you ask me, Neenah and Momento, not ONE tiny bit of smearing, I love that!
I cut the image out with my Labels 10 Nestabilities and distressed it with my Inkssentials Ink Blending Tool and Antique Paper distress ink.
Speaking of Nestabilities, 7Kids has a pre-order going for all the new Nestabilities! Have you seen them? They are absolutely GORGEOUS and I'm SO excited to get my hands on these! I'm pretty sure you won't find these cheaper ANYWHERE!
Do you see that gorgeous sparkly border?

I was a little bored with where my card went and thought it needed a little PIZAZZ! So I broke out my Sookwang double-sided tape and some Doodlebug Chunky Glitter and got messy!

Don't you looOOOve those flowers on my poofy bow? I think they really make the card. I love these little Prima's so much! I don't think I can get enough of them:)

Thanks for stopping by today! Enjoy your day:)

Surprise Blog Hop for Julee!!!

Surprise!!!!!! We're having a Birthday Blog Hop for Julee and want to THANK YOU for visiting all of our blogs today! As you all know, Julee is the owner of the most fabulous stamp company EVAH, Verve Stamps! Julee is just one of those girls you wish you lived next door to, so you could run over to her house whenever your mojo is hiding and watch her create! I have never seen anything less than STUNNING that she's created. She's also probably one of the sweetest, kindest people I've ever known. She does so much for us Diva's and just by giving me the opportunity to work with her stamps and the rest of the Diva's is more than I could ever ask for! So thanks Julee, for EVERYTHING and HAPPY BIRTHDAY, SWEET GIRL!!!!!

I made a couple frames for my friend today using the Andrea Victoria paper by MME and had some leftover stuff on my desk. I just love the colors in this paper pack and wanted to create a card for Julee using these papers! The small flourishes on the bottom of the card are from Kindred Spirits, the frame on the label die (from PTI) is from Thankful Accents, and the sentiment is from Birthday Surprise!

I think my favorite part of the card is the dangly jewel! It's from 7Gypsies. I hoard these things like I own the last package ever to be manufactured, ha!

Your next stop on the Birthday Blog Hop for Julee is the fabulous Tosha!

If for some reason one of the links on the hop doesn't work for you, refer to the master thread on the Verve Blog to get you on your way!

Thanks for hopping with us today!!!

**A BIIIIG thank you to Jen Tapler for designing our blog hop graphic! Isn't she the BOMB DIGGITY?!?**
